Mister Freedom
-
It's been a busy couple of weeks for my wardrobe with new additions including items from Mister Freedom. First, the CPO 10th Anniversary landed. Here it is after a soak and brief wear to set in the creases.
And then my other Grail item(s) arrived. The Brown Road Champs and Fletcher Indigo tee.
Going to be a great year breaking in these bad boys.

I'm possibly looking to sell my size 9 Trooper Boots (second batch), only worn 20x max, to fund the purchase of a pair of deadstock 1945 military boots that the Troopers were styled after.
If anyone is interested, please contact me directly.

Road Champs are listed for sale on the MF website… 7, 8, 9, 9.5 & 11.5

Honestly surprised they aren't all gone yet. I really wonder why people on the waiting list haven't just snatched all these up. Mostly would like someone to buy the 9 so I am no longer tempted.

I like the patch transfer. Cool idea.
Picked up a new summer pair. My first MF jawns, surprisingly enough.
Election edition pocket bags.
Kind of surprised that the 16.5 oz denim stood.
Mismatched chainstitched hems

Just bought the indigo HBT Veste Belleville from Pancho and Lefty's VIP sale for half off. Cant wait to get it. They are gone now but I think there is still a pair or two of Le Valseur trousers still available.

New Sportsman F/W 17 preview is up. Really like the Ranch Blouse in Okinawa denim.

Veste Belleville HBT sz 40. Despite the advice on the MF site, I went tts and am pretty pleased with the fit. The shoulders and arms need to settle a bit though to be sure. I used a 25 min luke warm soak so I might have a little shrinkage left in it. Opines welcome.
The fabric is really soft like an old suit coat and bleeds like crazy. My fingers are blue just from buttoning it up! I imagine it will age well [emoji106]Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

@Anesthetist that's a classic fit on you. Looks "heritage" while still being very, very sharp. I absolutely love those donut buttons…

On-going project, modding my CDO Jacket….
The chest pockets have been moved from the front of the jacket to the back (Kidney pockets), and I Frankenstein'd the pockets from a Filson Wool Liner vest, and some selvedge corduroy from a pair of Gustin's to make hand warmer pockets.
Here's a quick pic of the mock-up of the front pockets, tacked in to place.
My sewing skills are shoddy, at best, but I like what I've got so far. Unfortunately, the pockets were cut uneven by the Filson guys, so I won't end up with perfect symmetry, but that's totally fine with me.
More pics to come later…
