@Seul @sabergirl  Assuming you're both up to date with ep.3 of The Deuce, are either of you worried about the development of Darlene? Hooker with a heart of gold, and the most unstable, insecure pimp starts reading and looking to develop herself. And this is a David Simon show. I'm getting strong "Where's Wallace String?" vibes. Or am I just overly concerned because she's so adawbs?

I'm hoping she's going to get to talking with the journalist! I do recognize the danger she's in, though. I hope she's being developed for a long arc, even if her fate is tragic.

I haven't been a massive fan of any of the Marvel (or DC really) TV shows, so I wasn't expecting much from The Inhumans, especially as it has a rating of 4% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Watched the first episode last night and enjoyed it more than just about any other comic TV show I've watched.

Star Trek: Discovery on Netflix didn't have me too hyped with expectations, but the double episode pilot was better than OK with some occasionally very good moments, and the first episode proper (ep.3 on Netflix) was bloody ace. The dodgy new captain is very promising: "Universal ideals are for lackeys. Context is for kings".

The Inhumans was decent? The preview I saw looked really terrible.  I'll have to check it out.

Oh, and The Orville was different than I expected.  Pretty good, I think, but I want to see another couple of episodes to be sure.

I watched the first episode of the new Start Trek, and it was indeed pretty good. Another show which gets terrible reviews.

Here in the states Star Trek discovery isnt ok Netflix. Damn. It on CBS something or other…. crap

Yeah, you gotta pay to get CBS Direct, I think it's called.  We're doing it, but I'm ambivalent about it.  Discovery is pretty good, though.  Better than I expected.

I’m just migrating towards pay services and dropping my cable Tv package lower and lower. Gonna buy hbo through amazon prime. Netflix through Apple TV and then just have basic. And a jail broken fire stick.
