IHSH-62-ind - 12oz Wabash Western Shirt - Indigo
-
I have now soaked this shirt 3 times and machine washed it 3 times.
I gave it the 3rd machine wash this monday.
I got quite surprised that it still had some shrinkage left in it.
It has now shrunk so much that it is almost the smallest Large I got. Started out as the biggest -
If you haven't gotten this shirt yet, do it! It's a classic and incredibly durable fabric and one of the best looking IH shirts out there (although there are a lot of great ones)
I work at a family business and we recently brought my brother-in-law onboard so he is just now getting a taste of my IH wardrobe. I walked in to work this morning and the first thing he said was "Look at that shirt! Fancy!" lol…get yourself one, you won't regret it! I love mine so much I got it in black too...

The evolution of the wabash actually benefits massively from regular washing as well as hard wear. My 68-IND is seriously fekked up now and I adore it.
Yeah, after my second wash I realized this. I've been celebrating Wabash Wednesday's nearly every week since, lol

This is still one shirt that has been around since i knew about IH and still want. But there have been tons of other shirts that I wanted more haha. Maybe one day.

@Jordonf9 The struggle is real! The classic extant products get pushed out by the seasonal stuff. I still don’t have a 13 or a 21, for example [emoji849]
I’ll say this though, I picked up the 68 early on in my IH «career» and now have six wabash items (soon to be seven). They are all glorious, but the indigo 62 is probs the best of the lot. The fabric is unique and the cut is sharp. I can honestly say you’re doing yourself a disservice by passing on it.

Not entirely sure I agree with you; the black is seriously sexy. I especially like that the dots are a more beige color, rather than the brighter white of the indigo wabash. But if the IHSH-55 had come in a work shirt version, that's the one that would have ruled over all.

The black one is sexy. I've been meaning to get that one for a while.
-
But the way the blue wears in is glorious.
True. Mine isn't nearly as far along as yours, to my shame.
-
A little something different for me.
This was my first IH piece thanks to @Appfaff
I think brown duck + indigo wabash is one of the best combinations so i could not resist this.
