He is wearing the "Boss Cut" made from 21oz indigo selvedge denim. This is a pair he made for himself years ago and are his favoured jeans to wear with sneakers. They are a mild bootcut but based on the 634S with selvedge outseam detailing.  We will release them as a standard production jean next year…

LOVE this! I am a bootcut dude, but the 634s meet my needs. Excitied about learning more about this cut…perhaps in UHR

Just agreed to do the following.

We will start (another) new brand, name to be decided.  It will make shirts that can be smart casual or smart smart.  Construction will include a collar bone pocket.  @Warner I need Good Art collar bones please…....

The shirts will be made in the same factory as our existing shirts are made.

Saw the first sample today and we have quite a lot of tweaks to make, but we love what we saw.

We will use selvedge silk with almost zero sheen, the construction is about the finest I have ever seen.

The weight of silk is measured in momme, and will make our shirts out of (yes, you guessed it), 21 momme.....

The 2nd sample is being made shortly.....

Smart shirts is great news. Also every time I see Haraki-san eating (which he did a lot at Kanreki), it makes me happy. He always looks like he’s doing it with every fibre of his being, and loving every minute of it.

Ha @Dstauffer I thought the same thing about the butter, but I think it is 'clotted cream' we were confusing for butter (I had to look it up–sounds delicious!
