Vest fans of the world: UNITE!

Mine doesn’t look as good on me as yours does on you, that’s for sure!
I do like it, but it’s smarter than the other vests I wear and I feel it would do best with a shirt and that is something I rarely do. As a result it doesn’t get worn as much as my other vests. Need to experiment.

Sharpeye Poacher Vest, on sale at £60, down from £95, but only in medium (43") and large (46").

Pancho & Lefty always have a few vests in stock.
Indigofera are big on vests, and the Spavinaw is a bit different to their usual range. Not sure if it's terrible or awesome, or if it's something that I'd wear.
They also have the Freewheelers Expedition Vest.

I've just spotted a seventies reversible vest on eBay.
It's a suede or roughout on one side.
And corduroy on the other.
According to the advert, it's tagged as a size 40, but the pit-to-pit measurement of 19.5" would put it closer to an IH medium. At $40, surely one of the resident vest fanatics can take it for the team?

A bit too small for me but cool. I think it would fit a certain gent of the untucked variety….

Sweet vest, but a bit too 70's for my taste!

Type III vests aren’t really my speciality. I have one (IHV-21) and had another from the Marketplace briefly but wasn’t happy with sizing.
Both the two you mention are beautiful. I’d be tempted to go with the IH-526V. Classic 21oz, heavy but soft. The XHS version is gorgeous and the denim is great but it will be crazy stiff. If you don’t plan on wearing it daily it will stay that way for a looooong time. This was the way with my IHV-21. I had to force myself to wear and use it for working in to get past the stiffness.

X-Post, since it seems to underrated IH-2526V

I'm leaning towards the IH-526V, for the same reasons you mentioned…
I'm SURE the IH-526V-XHS will be amazing with some serious wear, but I just don't know if I'm the guy who can/will make that happen, lol! -
