Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?

@Steffen @theshigster In Weaving Shibusa Haraki-san mentions that he designs clothes he wants to wear himself. He's a Japanese biker. Japanese bike riders are what Haraki-san considers his core target group in Japan so most designs are made with them in mind and IH are seen as a biker clothing brand in Japan.
I don't think Haraki-san considers his western audience when designing at all. Giles tells a story of the first time H was in NYC at a SE party and he was bemused and amazed at the way people were wearing his clothes as it was not what he had in mind when designing them at all
H is responsible for the fabrics and most of the clothing designs. Obviously @Giles and @Alex spec things based on Haraki-san's work that are perhaps more targeted at the international market. With jeans you have the 555, 666, 777 and 888 cuts that have been specced from Gosport, and some UHF colourways are IHUK designed/specced too.
The way the IHUK and Japanese operations inform each other is fascinating. Famously H never used to be overly interested in selvedge as the way the fabric performed was more important than the kind of loom it was woven on. Also interesting/amusing is that when G specced the 666 cut Haraki-san initially didn't want anything to do with it in Japan. That changed too

Any chance of SBG in 888 anytime soon?

No plans for the 888 in anything but the 142 and the XHSib denim, as it stands, but that doesn't mean we will not do more options in time.

There's always a chance, but not in the pipeline.
But how about this? it's in the pipeline…
-
that's grey by me..
tell me more… fabric wise.. -
you mean like the IHSW-34? i'm not sure which one i had a look at, either the 31 or the 34, in which i felt it was a little light. but i prefer the material of the 10 because of how heavy and warm it felt..

It looks like a IHSW-34 but with a hood. I too found it to be relatively light compared to e.g. IHSW-23.

Any plans for more indigo/indigo duck?
None, it did not sell well I am afraid…...
I could be wrong, but want it mentioned that there is still some fabric tucked away somewhere? I recall mentioning a double duck CPO, and the response wasn't soul crushing, lol
Or an UnTucked would be nice too.
I actually regret not getting the work vest when I had a chance…

This has probably been mentioned before but a UHF blanket would be pretty cool [emoji41]

I doubt another blanket will be made- the IHG-070 is still in stock many months after release.
Which is a shame, because it's phenomenal…

This could be pretty cool, though I'd worry about bleeding if unlined. You'd basically have to wear blue and black with it in the beginning, and hope you don't get wet if wearing something else later on.
