Which Cell Phone do you own?

Pixel 3 is about to come out. Hard to beat Pixel 2's camera already and I'd imagine an improvement in the 3. My camera thrashes all my friends' iPhone cameras for sure. Specs aren't the best on the camera but taken with the software it's superior. And it's nice to have stock Android, I was on Pie almost immediately after release. Can't recommend Pixel enough, easily the best phone I've ever had.

Thanks guys. That doesn't make it easier, though. The P20pro comparison Picture is almost unbelievable, Looks like my old cellphone camera.

i'm an apple fanboy. i'll say iphone X all day long. but from a objective point of view, the huawei leica collab is brilliant and one of my mate swears by it. also, look into sony's phones. as much as i'm a canon person, i'll have to admit sony makes great sensors and i'll be surprised if their xperia phones do not contain the great work they've been doing with their sensors.
the only thing that is stopping me from any of those phones is android. but if you've been using it, you should feel right at home.

Pixel 3 XL shots here (tagged #Pixel3XL) fwiw

Despite producing the majority of camera sensors for nearly every smartphone manufacturer nowadays, Sony has still the weakest quality on its own devices due to poor software processing. Pretty ironic. Google's Pixels are best at it and here's the original post with a shipload of pics taken with the upcoming Pixel 3.

Here's one I just snapped in the hotel I'm posted up at with my Pixel 2.
There are low light pictures I've been able to take that no one else's camera was able to make sense of. Nice to never need a flash, since phone flashes are annoying and lacking.
Ok I'll shut up about it now.

iOS for me. A great part due to the stance on privacy. Sorry to link to marketing…. however:

I went from Apple to Android in 2011, and was finally tempted back by the new iPhone XS Max, went all out with the 512GB phone, plus the stainless 44mm LTE watch, picked up on launch day, I was excited to be back… Within 2 weeks they've been returned and I'm back to my Samsung Note 8.
They were very cool, sexy as hell with the polished stainless finish, and felt great in hand. The problem was that in the two weeks I had it it dropped at least half a dozen calls mid call, and removed the time stamps from all my messages so were all in random order... Since I use my phone for work it was just unacceptable, sadly. Luckily Apple customer service is excellent, and they just refunded it no fuss. Offered a swap but I'm going to wait for them to iron out the kinks, it sounds like the calls dropping is a random issue at this stage, with no known cause and no guarantee if or when it will be fixed with an update, or whether it's a hardware issue.

The new Pixels are underwhelming, which is good for me since I'm still very happy with my Pixel 2, easily the best phone I've experienced. But I do hope Pixel 4 is compelling.

I'm probably going to get a Pixel 3XL in the next few weeks. I work as an Android developer, so it's effectively a tool of the trade. Plus my Nexus 5X is getting way past its sell-by date, and it wasn't a great phone to begin with. I went through three or four under warranty…
That said, Samsung have the Galaxy 10 coming early next year, and it sounds like a step forward. They're also working on a foldable phone, as are LG and Huawei, which sounds really interesting.

I had a Nexus 6 by Motorola and it was an exceptional phone. Overly gigantic, but great display and front facing stereo speakers. The one drawback was common to all Androids I've had sans the Pixel 2: eventually it would bog down.
Stock Android, specialized image processing hardware, and excellent camera software are compelling advantages of Pixel.

Unfortunately I can confirm all of this. I too went for the Xs and Wi-Fi /cellular connectivity is just plain awful despite the latest software (12.1). Too often I had no service at all and too many times it dropped calls. Something I've not experienced before with my old device in the same places. It's a great looking and premium feeling phone, no doubt, but such an immature package is definitely not worth the big money they're asking for it. I switched back to my old Samsung S7 which never let me down in 1,5 years of its usage and I never thought I'de be saying that but it's so much easier to handle as well.

Splurged on a Xs. Camera and overall speed a big leap from an iPhone 6. Pleased.

Pixel 3 in not pink. Amazing phone, what the pixel 2 should have been…. Sadly I didn't know they were going to discount their phones $150 on Black Friday or I would have waited. Bastards...no one will buy pixels on release date now ha, shot themselves in the foot.

Dang, Pixel 2 is easily my favorite of the myriad smartphones I've had across every major platform. I saw no reason to buck the 2/4 cycle but glad to hear positive feedback.

I just got a Samsung s10 today and it is freaking awesome. Besides the awesome cameras my favorite feature is the factory installed screen protector. It's like they thought of everything. Also my company got me the phone for free.. so I am extremely grateful.
