IH-888-UHR - Indigo UHR 21/23oz Selvedge Denim Medium/High Rise Tapered Cut

@Ceeds the thigh and knee may drop just under those measurements after the soak and wash but will stretch back too, with wear. I’d certainly recommend the 33 as they will be closest to your 888S in the long run. I suspect you’d find yourself with far too much room in the tag 34.
You could always ask IHUK to see if they have a pair of tag 33 with a slightly wider leg.
Thanks guys - I’ll most likely be doing the 33’s based on your recommendations. Appreciate it!

I am most pleased with how my jeans are evolving. This is a little over 2 months wear. I'm disqualifying myself from the DWC since I haven't been wearing my jeans or posting regular updates either. So I will just post my shots here.
The denim is still very crispy but has an ultra soft hand now- depending on humidity. The more humid the rougher they feel. I guess this could be due to my skin. But they feel softer in cooler, dryer weather.
It's pretty cool how hairy the denim is.

@Ceeds these will stretch quite a bit. Back to the pre-soak measurement and even more. For example I am closer to a size 40 but am wearing a 38. The waist has stretched to almost a 38.75. It won't be comfortable or fun, but they will fit you perfectly after about 2 months of daily wear. Also the more snug they are, the better the evo will be in the long run.

@Filthy Please definitely feel rougher as humidity increases. I noticed whenever Any moisture is introduced to this denim they Stiffen right up. I got caught in some rain the other day walking to the train station and the wetter the jeans got the harder they became for me to run in. But it’s such a beautiful denim. it’s so well-made and the feel of it is unbelievable.

These jeans are awesome.

A desk job means slow evo (except those sweet calf-rubbing-against-the-Aeron fades!), so after 90 wears and 6 washes this is only as far as they’ve come. Not looking great for a top placement in the DWC…

Paint wars!

On the 17th, I'll be at 2 months of very consistent wear.
The creases are settling in quite nicely, and the denim is softening up quite a bit
I wear these about 4-5 days a week for work, and plan to keep doing so until I finally get some fades worth talking about… It's high time I get some respect around here! lol!!!
And, as always, I have a shitty pic to boot...

@neph93 looking good! What size do you wear? That fit is as perfect as can be.

That’s kind of you to say so, thanks.
Tbh I’ve struggled a bit with this pair as I wasn’t used to the rise or the room in the leg. Add to that the UHR denim which takes a long while to settle and I never felt comfortable in them.
I persevered and now I’m really pleased. Looking forward to trying some other versions in the near future. It’s a mature cut and suits my build (short and wide legs, long torso).
These are a W34. I’d actually go all the way down to a W33 in the 21oz iteration based on current measurements. There is no doubt that the height they sit on the waist means you can size down successfully. I’m generally a W35 otherwise.

@Neph93 , this 888 cut is made for you . Did they measure you before the design ?:-)
I am with skinny legs so I hate this cut !

I still haven't soaked or washed these despite wearing and even some times sleeping in these pretty much every day. The fades are really starting to pop.
I guess I shouldn't long for a pair of 25oz XHS 888 too much. Because these seem pretty close now that they are very broken in.

Love how the stacks ended up falling on these.

one more stacks shot but from the other side.

Now that was a mouth full.
