@neph93 shoulda tagged me didn’t see your question.
I don’t track washes or wears or do anything special to preserve or facilitate fades. I think they’ve been washed 4 times total. Washed inside out cold, line dried right side out, then usually air tumble with no heat in drier.

In my experience, the stress of getting jeans right-side out while still wet can create undesirable (if usually temporary) fade patterns in the indigo. I let mine hang dry and then get them back right-side out. FWIW, YMMV, etc

526L is coming along nicely
As someone who owns one myself, I know how much of a pain the break in of this one can be but you're doing awesome so far :o

^ Damn… I really really hope mine will also turn out to be like this!

Thanks guys @doguhanca @marlin @den1mhead I am always in this jacket when in the woods hiking.

I’d say it’s time to give that a careful wash @twin
It looks incredible, if a bit grubby.
You’re maintaining your lead over me when it comes to fades still, and I wear mine a lot.I’ve washed mine twice now in a little over three years. I just wore it for a couple of years initially.
It was hot soaked when new to get all the shrink out, but I was still nervous as hell when I delicately stuck it in the bath on both occasions. It turned out great though so I’m going to continue to give it an annual dunk. -
Epic award winning fade there @twin

IH hoodie, indigo dipped. If these were to be re-run, would cop a backup.

@Streetwise Hercules Someday it will get a wash.

18oz vintage, still my favorite IH denim…for good reason
