@neph93 Right on! I've been enjoying the updates on the ToTTTTT thread these past few months, but have yet to properly dig into its murkier beginnings. Especially enjoyed @Megatron1505 's slice-of-life-Up-North postings from the jacket's more recent history.

This lefty twill trucker is a particular favorite. Even though it is lighter than the IH 21oz. This really is quite stiff and strong which I particularly like, probably tougher than the 21oz.
My other IH denim jacket is a type 2 in 18oz and single wash, which is a totally different beast to the lefty twill type 3. I think Pinkomo store in HELSINKI was the only place outside Japan to have stocked it, back a couple of summers ago. It is super soft, almost like a shirt more than a jacket, great for the warmer months.
