IHSH-177 - 18oz Selvedge Denim CPO Shirt - Indigo

Cheers folks….Will replace the leather strapped watch with a stainless steel one for now then.
-
I used to be bothered by the denim stains on watch straps and lighter colored cotton or suede-ish sneakers, but the other day I was looking at the indigo smudges on the back of my parchment colored Chucks and realized that it actually looks great. It adds character. Maybe that's just me though.
-
I know what you mean, but these are kinda expensive watch straps and I love love sneaks clean. It's cool I just roll jeans up about an inch or 2 above the sneaker!!! Win win
-
Ok finally gotta chance to try it on its a beast!!! Fit is a touch snug across the back, will this shirt loosen up like jeans do as it wears in and softens up? I fear exchanging for the next size up will make the arms too long.

I second @Kasi suggestion @DemonDenimHunter… Also do the snaps at the chest pull? If not then you’ll be fine.
The denim will relax but it won’t stretch as much as jeans simply because it isn’t put under as much pressure.

On Neph's point about the buttons pulling, my chest button pulls a bit with a medium but a large is far too roomy, and since I don't plan on buttoning these up, I don't mind. I'm a short-armed broad-chested dude, so my case is slightly complicated
I have that problem with mine 25oz xhs vest like keep the button open am ok with that

Same short armed and broad chested, buttons aren’t pulling no. Just want to wear it out now but there’s bloody heavy rain for the next 2 days.

Definitely doesn’t loosen up/stretch like a pair of jeans, although the arms will come up a little as you get combs in the elbow area. You can also ask them to try and find you the one in the next size with the shortest sleeve length. I wanted to make sure I had enough room in the chest,so I just deal with the sleeves being a little long.
-
@Jett129 I agree and don’t care about Sleeve length or body length….those are some high class problems. I’m just glad I can Button the damned thing. I’m pumped I can fit into such quality gear.
I can’t believe I waited so ling to get this shirt. A second hand shirt albeit, but my instant favorite

Right been wearing this for a few hours as a shirt over a simple t-shirt and under a coat. Bloody stiff and feels good, noticed that the bottom of the shirt has started to curl up on one side, how do I stop this?

You have three options
1. Iron it 2. Don’t wear it 3. Don’t let it bother you. Take your pick

Ironing is about the only way to control that, unfortunately. It happens on all denim, wabash, and other twill weave shirts. It's an unavoidable aspect of the fabric type, I think.

60 wears in - sized to fit like a shirt and not a jacket - I'm getting a lot of color loss in one armpit, is armpit blowout a thing? A few months of lurking in the forums here and I have not found mention of it.

I have the OD version. I've worn it more than 60 times and don't see any sign of blowout in the armpits. Fraying will indicate a blowout more than fading. The biggest point of stress on my shirt is the fold where the hem has curled up.
