@UnTucked thanks for putting me on to Felix. He's going to rework my Viberg engineer boots for me, puy a Dr Sole heel on for me, shape and stain the heel block. He seems like a pretty cool guy.
Great to hear!
Will you be stopping by his shop in Shoreditch?
Yep, got an appointment for Monday 28th. Only 50 mins on the train from where we live. I'm looking forward to seeing his workshop.

Looking forward to seeing the results, just found out about him whilst looking for a Viberg oxford resole.

That is some serious desk-diving, @Alex
Also, that UHF is gonna be great.

I’ve seen a YouTube video of a tailor taking up a dress shirt sleeve, which I suppose is effectively the same thing. You remove the cuff and the placket (is that the term for it on the sleeve?), trim the material and shift it all up. It looked difficult but not impossible.
I’m going to find a tailor before I buy the shirt I reckonSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Got a ways before it's a concern, but overlock stitch or what?

FREE REPAIRS FOR LIFE, FOR YOU, BY US.
Details can be found on the website HERE
If I had 2 pairs that needed repairing, do I need to add 2 of "Iron Heart Repair" to the cart? And would this affect the cost on the shipping label to you guys (from the U.S.)? Also considering maybe sending in a shirt to have the buttons pimped while I'm at it…
-
I agree. Well done Dgsfh.

You probably won’t get anything from the picture, but had my tailor take in the thighs of my 888-XHSib. If it wasn’t over 30 degrees here it take a fit picture. They turned out great though.

Haha yup. Same here. Leather machine.

I think I finally figured out what I want to do with this chainstitch patch I got on Etsy. Anybody have a recommendation for a tailor/whatever in NYC who could do this (correctly) for me. I don't trust my local dry cleaner not to screw this up.

Self edge maybe?
