Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?

@alexdefaro Have you compared the taper measurements on the 555 and 777,because I don’t see much difference in the measurements from the knee to the hem, and you get the higher rise of the 555.

Has IH ever considered doing one of these military sweaters? The one pictured is from Patagonia but I think IH could easily do their own take on this classic style.

Been asking for a commando sweater for years and there doesn't seem to be interest. It is a thing IH would do so well IMO. Duck pads, heavy ribbed wool in olive, black, coyote, and/or heather gray…

I agree. Seems like it's something that's inside IH's wheelhouse. You could use whatever fabric for the shoulder pads, whether it be duck, whipcord or maybe denim. Not sure how denim shoulder pads would look but the overall design of the commando sweater is cool imo. My vote goes to indigo

There was a point in time where I was really into Frontier kind of wear. More specifically Cavalry/Bib shirts. While I think this might be a little bit too Wild West, and not really be inline with the IH esthetic, figured I’d throw it out there anyway. It would be really cool with IH snaps,it would work in denim, flannel, chambray, and be really next level in Moleskin. Last but not least when you take the bib off you have a popover shirt, which at one point I think Giles was considering.

I think one of my pitches was for an indigo one with denim patches. The evo on the patches would be very interesting and novel, not something I've seen on a sweater.
My personal preference is to also include the elbow patches like the original design–the Patagucci pictured lacks those.
I have this one in the green heather since my dream of an IH one remains deferred. Recommended.

Who gets to sample it? [emoji3064]

a plain indigo or black vest in the IHV-02 style - to wear with IH checked flannel shirts
The wabash version is awesome with a plain shirt - eg IH chambray - but too “busy” imo with a check

Yes… I have both of them.
Two completely different cuts.
777 have much more room on the thighs and more tapper knee down
555 slimmer on the thighs and practically straight knee downCheck the cut comparison on the Our Cuts page
777 are a perfect fit for my body type and with a higher rise would fit like a glove.

Not sure they are completely different. They are both slim tapered cuts after all. Apart from the rise, major difference between the two is in the knee, it is consistently wider on the 777. This is because the thigh of the 777 tapers much more gently than the 555, while the leg to hem, more aggressively.
@alexdefaro try the PIH10ANT. It is pretty much exactly what you are looking for. Alternatively, if you size down one or two waist sizes on the 888 you’ll get close to 777 silhouette with a high rise.

I'd like to see an IH version of the above hook front deck jacket. I suppose I could buy the Buzz Rickson version at some point but i'm interested to see what Haraki-san could do to make this even cooler

Haven't been on the forum much lately so apologies in advance if this has already been discussed but a modified type III in the new 14oz black/black denim would be nice.
