It's really the thighs that are concerning me since the waist buttons up somewhat easily.
I do recall the thighs on mine being the last to stretch out as well as the pockets were borderline unusable. The waist does stretch a lot so I’d insist on getting a properly fitting belt.
-
Been wearing them all day at my desk job and the thighs definitely still feel tight when I'm sitting down. Feels okay when walking but my drive home was uncomfortable.
How many days wear? You’re looking at a week or two of discomfort before the thighs relax.
-
Knight and Neph, thanks for the advice. I will report back in about a week. Normally my wife would take a pic but I just told I bought these and she isn't too stoked about it…hehe....

Mine are about 18 months old and I’d say the first 3 months I couldn’t even get my fingers in to the front pockets and my thighs were constantly under pressure but this eventually relaxed.
Have faith, the main thing is that you could ‘just’ squeeze in to them brand new so I’ll bet my bottom dollar they’ll mould to you perfectly.

Hah it's only been 3 wears and the thighs are still tight but I THINK the waist is stretching! The denim is probably the coolest I've ever handled so I'm going to stick it out. I want to experience this denim molding to my body!

That is exactly the required attitude. Good man.

Quick update, coming up on about a week of wear and they are slowly stretching and getting more comfy. Haven't gone through this process with a pair of raws in a long time. It's slightly grueling but certainly fun.

Let’s see some pics!

I guess I spoiled this denim by throwing it in the washing machine. I purchased it sometime in 2017 and I wore it extensively that year, but after that I kind of did not have the chance to wear it at office. It somehow landed in the washing machine and as it can be seen from the pictures below, it has got those fades in unwanted areas. What could I do about it?
-
What a shame….
Nothing can make the fades lines un-fade I am afraid. If you wear long enough the unwanted fades will start to merge into the background....
Looks like the patch has shrunk a little too, I'd oil it and see if it will revert to pre-wash shape/size, if not cut it off...
-
I know it was my mistake to have it in the washing machine! Lesson learnt! I'm okay with the patch. It has a used look now!
-
I’d put a good leather conditioner the patch anyway so it doesn’t get too dry and start cracking.
-
I don’t think the lines are very noticeable. Just wear the heck out of them. The advantage is now you don’t have to baby them, and can wash and dry with reckless abandon.
Agreed.

I will do it! I have some oil that I use on my Red Wing Iron Ranger shoes! Probably will use'em
