I'm considering to getting into the heavy weight game and would need your advice and answers:
1. Does the denim get softer after some time (months)?
2. What is the difference between XHS and non-XHS?
3. What is the fading potential on this 666 XHS?
4. Will there be some giving away after couple of wear? -

4. Will there be some giving away after couple of wear?1. Yes, very much. Maybe after a couple months
2. XHS is 25oz, and it is unwashed.
3. Higher contrast than our 21 and 14oz denims.
4. Yes: "The waist will stretch out approximately one inch with wear". -
I was watching TV with my wife when the message came in… sorry for the delay [emoji1]
1. They will soften up. The change is borderline miraculous as they are really stiff and heavy to start with but become like heavy duty sweat pants. This does not happen over night however. It will take a lot of wear.
2. The XHS is denim like most others. It is a 100% right hand twill weave, and indigo dyed. The remarkable things about it are it’s weight and the darkness if the indigo dye. It’s weight and the design of tje weave make it difficult to make.
3. This denim fades with great contrast and beautiful vertical patterns. It is also has a relatively uneven hand which is unusual for Haraki-San
4. It will stretch as much as the 21oz denim but it will take a little longer. Depending on how tight they are at the start, you can expect some discomfort for the first week or so.

I'm still coming to terms with the IH fits. I like the fit of the 777 but the low rise on this one is the only deal breaker for me. I'm also not so fond of the high rise on the 888's. Ideal would be the 666 cut but with some taper like the 777.

Lost a few pounds, now I gotta start over…

True, it’s a good (if expensive) problem to have.
