Where does everyone live?

Hi all,
Mystic, Connecticut
-Paul
I had the pleasure of visiting Mystic in 2019! My daughter loved the aquarium, especially the "Bloogas" (Beluga whales), and my wife & I really enjoyed the historic area where the Joseph P. Morgan is parked. CT is such a diverse state–from NYC suburbs to very rural agri-land to seaside resort towns to seaside working towns. We really enjoyed all of it. How do you like living in Mystic?
-
Wow, small world. And sure sounds like you got around this little town. Glad you enjoyed it.
Was that a road trip for you?I’ll admit I haven’t been to the aquarium or seaport in years. Guess that’s part
of living in a tourist town. But don’t get me wrong; on the ocean,
1/2 way between Boston & NYC, and all the New England charm just outside the door.Yeah, Connecticut is more diverse than many think.
Long answer for: I really love this corner of the world. Haha
Hope you make it back sometime! -
@hideglue Yes, we enjoyed it and yes, it was an extended road trip. We've had the privilege of being free to roam about the country for the past few years. We left New England just before the pandemic began and headed to the mountain West. For the time being we've now settled in Appalachia, but I feel the tug of the coasts more and more every day! Cheers!

Welcome….
There are some fellow neo-Floridians here who will be able to advise you on the best denim for the climate better than I, but weight doesn’t always correlate with warmth. At least lot with IH. The generally accepted point of view around here is the the classic 21oz performs best when it is warm and sticky out.
Good to have you here.

Hi everyone! Really happy to be part of this forum! I live on Nantucket out in Massachusetts but I am originally from North Carolina. Used to be big into Denim back when Styleforum and Superfuture where in their prime but just recently got back into it. As much as I work I realized I should get some denim and work on some fades! I have always admired Japanese denim and the respect they have for the process, especially Iron Heart! Looking forward to making some friends on here and seeing all the awesome jeans! Cheers everyone!

Thank you Steelworker! I am operations manager for a Gunite Pool install company here. Believe it or not during Covid the real estate market has been the highest it has ever been here and the request for pools is unreal. On deck to do 50 pools this year and already have 70 booked for next year. Definitely lots of job opportunities out here but finding housing for workers is near impossible. It's a nice place to live but winters are rough

Nice. If you ever feel like those cuts are restrictive in your everyday, I can personally recommend the SST versions. Super comfy from the start.

Hi all,
I'm Roy and I live in Irvine, California but originally from Seoul, Korea.
Lurked since last December when I first found about IH from my first purchase IHSH-218 at SE in LA.
Finally decided to join this amazing forum after getting IHSH-251-IND, IHSH-251-RED, IH-526PJ, IH-634S, IH-888S-142bb and IHSH-285, while waiting for IHSH-75-IND and IH-888S-OD to arrive tomorrow.
Obviously in love with the quality of IH. Thanks!
