I don't get it, could be so much easier to put some labels in the shirts, especially when you want to sell…
If it was, we'd do it.
Well, why isn't it then? If somebody knows that, it's you. There are already labels in it and in some shirts even prints on the inside, why is it difficult to print a label with the model number on it?
Kind regards

@Filthy:
Mike, it's funny you should mention the spiritual aspect you feel. As an outsider to the brotherhood (despite the efforts of some of its members), it's not for me to say (and maybe requires some arcane process to confirm your status) but I tend to think of you as the spiritual head of the Bibbist Order
No man will make a great leader, that wants to do it all for himself and take all the credit. (Paraphrasing Andrew Carnegie)
His Filthiness is possibly confirming his eligibility for the position

It adds complication and cost. In general, the only people who ever ask for information like this are people who buy and sell. I think as a brand, we give people access to more information and resource than most others, that is why we have the extinct section for instance…..

Is there a "what shirt is this?" or "what jacket is this?" thread?
I've got a couple pieces that I'm not entirely sure which version they are.

Is there a "what shirt is this?" or "what jacket is this?" thread?
There is a «guess the shirt» thread but that was meant for nerdy fun.
Up until now people have used the Extinct section combined with the site search engine and worked it out themselves. Only in very peculiar instances (very old products, rare/Japan only products, possible fakes etc), have people needed to ask «the cloud».
That being said, if there is a need for it we could definitely have one. The product range is huge, the Extinct section is not complete, the total number of products now run into the 1000’s and there are people here who will think this is fun (like me).
I’ll put one together later today.

Not that I know of, but one could be started if needed….. @neph93 you know of one?
Word. Thanks all! I've had good luck in the past using detective skills and such using the site search feature, but there are a few pieces that are just so close that it's hard to know for sure which is which.

Chances are that if the snaps are smooth with no text, then it's an IHSH-16. If the snaps say PERMEX then it'll be an IHSH-202. The really old models of shirts all have smooth snaps and sometimes the size label will attached on the right side of the IH label inside the collar as opposed to being centered on the bottom of the label.

Clint is a blessing to this forum, I swear!!!
And totally right about the snaps!

Yup. Smooth snaps and size label attached on the right side of the IH label on my IHSH-16 and IHSH-17.

I wonder what the real intention of expression is when machine translation translates Japanese to the phrase, "cell bitch denim"?

I guess my attempt at trolling/humor didn't work… Sorry folks

Oh no. It worked. [emoji23]

Do you guys believe in angels, or?

+1 - the squiffy machine translations often tickle me
I think it is because Japanese characters are phonetic and those two words closely resemble the word selvedge. I have seen this translation in a few places. Kind of a funny coincidence.
