Size chart updated for impending restock.
How does this run differ in sizes compared to the previous runs?

Hi All,
So I have been looking into buying 777s in 21 oz. (Indigo) and this will be my first Iron hearts.
-
I have been wearing 7 for all mankind jeans (their 'slimmy' line). I wear size 36 but when I measured the jeans waist
after a few days of wear it was 38 inches (I followed the video on Iron heart forum, to properly measure jeans).
What size would you recommend to order in 777s and 21 oz.? -
I am 5 11.5 inches tall and my inseam is 32. If I am not mistaken 777s have 36 inseam and I do like the look of double cuffs with chain stitching showing. Should I aske IH to hem the jeans or leave it at 36 inches?
Thanks for your help

@Chicagoan I’ve moved your post to the thread about the product you’re interested in (and edited it for continuity).
In the future, if you have a question about a specific product then just post on that thread rather than starting a new thread.
While I’m here:
1. the 21oz will stretch around an inch or maybe a little more. Have a look at the measurement tables and find the pair closest to 36.5-37” (tag 36 I suspect). They’re the ones for you.
2. Even if you like double cuffs, 36” may be a little long. You can probably get them chopped to 34” and chainstiched by IH. It depends how big you like your cuffs though, if they tend to be high you could hide the four inches without a problem.

It depends how your 7's fit. If you want exactly the same waist, you will need to email shop@ironheart.co.uk and ask them to find you a pair as close to actual 37 as possible.
-
If you don't want a cuff, you will need them hemmed (but they are non-returnable once hemmed). Chat to the guys on shop@ironheart.co.uk. They'll help you out.

I went with a size down from what I would have normally got (still figuring out which cut works best for me) this has a lower rise which is why I went with it. When I first got them they were a struggle to put on and could barely fit my hands in my pockets. After a couple weeks of off and on wear they have really loosened up and now slip right on and off with not much effort. They are still the tightest pair I own, but are actually very comfortable. I love the 21oz denim, it gets soft pretty quickly it seems. Still breaking them in but loving them!
Plus it completes my 21oz tux!

@Crease if you don't mind me asking, what's your chest and waist size? I've been thinking about trying the 777 cut. It seems like I am a similar build as you.
-
@Filthy my chest is 46” and waist is about 36.5”. It’s weird because I just took that waist measurement with a flexible tape, but the 21oz 777 pair I got measured 34.4” waist by IHUK when I ordered. I just re-measured the waist and am getting right on 36.5”. FR= 10.25”, BR= 15.25”, Thigh=12.6”
I also have a XHS-555bb in size 34 and think it fits me a little bit more comfortably in the top block. But I think these 777 give me a little better fitted look option. GAH I just want all the jeans lol!
By the way, thank you so much for all your posts, your pictures and info have been really helpful for me on several pieces! I’m Working on posting about them. Thanks for the inspiration! So glad this forum exists

Hell yeah, @jerkules . Those look awesome.
I currently have a pair in the queue and can't wait to break them in later this year.
-
Those look amazing. Did you need to wait ages before washing them to get fades as good as those?

Cheers dudes! I wear these jeans a lot and kinda forgot to look at them in any detail, and the other I realised just how good the denim is ageing. As this point I’d normally have busted pocked bags and pretty sizeable knee holes with jeans from lesser brands, but these still have a lot of life still in them. I fully intend to wear them into the ground.
