I agree that the premise and execution of the story in the book is much more compelling, and unfortunately AG's movie left no chance to adapt the different but fun second book

popvulture oh, I am indeed terrified of what kids are apparently getting into—but it’s not really new information. I am a part of the last generation that didn’t have cell phones or consistent internet access in high school and college. I feel like it’s a whole new ball game now, and much of it is no good.

Oh absolutely — I’m in that exact same age bracket and I find the concept of growing immersed in the internet, smartphones, and social media absolutely terrifying. I feel for the whippersnappers.

At 35 I feel like I was right on the cusp

Yeah I’d say about waist deep in webbernet, but safely above water

Back on topic though. My wife and I started Peacemaker and she was totally not feeling it. I was ever so slightly high as balls so I’m not sure if it was as bat shit crazy as I thought at the time but it seemed truly strange. I’ll watch it when she goes back to work.
Peacemaker is pretty batshit, but it's hilarious. I get the impression that a fair amount of John Cena's dialog is just him winging it, which makes me think more highly of his comedic skill.

I hate to agree with @seul on anything but he's right about RG.

@popvulture I figured I was one of the only people that really enjoyed Raised By Wolves
Stoked.to hear it's.coming backI watched it… Absolutely loved the first two thirds but felt the end got drawn out and too many questions went unanswered. Pleased it is coming back as that kind of big concept sci-fi is my jam and since Westwold disappeared up its own ass there hasn't been much of it about.

I read the trilogy in the summer and was thinking on this. It is doable. with a bit of script fiddling. I'd love to see a film version of the second book. The rabbits scene would be so good on the big screen.

How true about Westworld @neph93
I loved the first season and have been progressively more disappointed with each following.I think the narrative structure and viewpoint of "Control" would make an interesting movie, agree the bunny scene could adapt well
