WHAT ARE YOU DOING TODAY (PICS)

Did a fun 50k in Paris
Pic is just before a climb up the hills of Buttes Chaumont towards the end

@mclaincausey one thing I wonder every time I see a Red Rocks photo - how does the seating work? Is it just a case of stand where you want or does the ticket allocate you a row or zone?
A Billy, Tyler or Sturgill gig at RR will be forever bucket list material for me!
Just numbered seats like anything else, but the seats are really wide (best described as risers) so that you can dance. At some shows a bunch of nerds will sit down and ask or demand that everyone else do too (Tyler Childers had that—a lot of his fans here domestically are not the best).
I’ve never seen it as crowded as it was this run. Managed to get great seats each night through luck and work.
We were nice and close dead center last time we saw Sturgill here.

@Matt Thank you! Those are fantastic.
@Giles My neighbour trims his bushes with a electric hedge trimmer and they always look like shite…He gets mad because mine look better (I use Felco hand pruner’s also). In the past I suggested he try doing them by hand and it was not well received…c'est la vie
Did just treat myself to this for the thicker branches….

You should check out Silky Saws if you're doing a fair amount of pruning and trimming work. I've got a few different models and I'm incredibly pleased with them. They're very effective and convenient enough to where I've forgone getting out the chainsaw for smaller jobs.

Thanks a lot, @Clint_D , now I "need" one of these for no particular reason:

Got out of Bodø to the big city (or at least the biggest city in Norway). Went out on the Oslo Fjord with some friends…
This almost never happens in Oslo fjord… sadly it is practically empty of fish. We were super lucky.
Pretty sure @Giles and Paula stayed here last time they were in Oslo.

What an appropriate artwork to be displayed next to that housing:
I really like the look of the museum though.
The museum is pretty good, the opera house is amazing, but generally the water line is a hot mess. Too much money, too many try-hard architects, no cohesion.

Norway’s national day today. Celebrated in the capital for the first time for my part. Quite impressive. Tried to meet up with @hajduk but sadly the demanding schedule Hot Ingrid set up meant it didn’t happen.
Still… the night before it a big party night, not least for pupils finishing high school. They wear red or blue boiler suits and get drunk on roundabouts:
The center of town today was mental:
That is the royal castle, the royal family are on the balcony ( I promise).
Here they are…
We ended up at some friends in quieter neighbourhood. The local school still looked like this:
Skål!
Then we went up to the military base where Jesper is doing his national service. He’s on the King’s Guard and a member of the drill corps. They are just back from performing at Windsor for Lizzy.

Walk down to the neighborhood nano brewery with the pups as wait for Morgan to get home. No sun but it's 70, no complaints here. The aged barley wine helps
