Thought season 6 was really good–-you are in for a treat.

Finished up “Severance” and absolutely enjoyed every bit of it. Surprised there is not more chatter here about the show. The attention to detail was amazing.
Also been watching most recent season of “What We Do in the Shadows” and laughing my ass off. The latest episode hit home because I have a couple kids that are REALLY into Legos and musicals…[emoji23]

Haven't checked out Severance yet, but your praise of it is adding to quite a big pile I've heard from other people. Seems like it's been a slow burn, but it's really gathering acclaim! I'll check it out next.
I've been pretty glued to Tokyo Vice. Tbh I wasn't expecting a ton for some reason, and it's really surprised me. GREAT shots of Japan, and a cool story so far. I think I've got three eps left.

I thought What We Do was stupid as fuck and that my wife and daughter were out of their minds .
20 minutes later I'm braying like a donkey. It's still stupid. But I laugh. -
I haven't seen the show, but I loved the movie. That kind of silly humor is 100% up my alley. Fantastically stupid
-
The thing about Severance is that every aspect is just right to me. The score, the casting, the vivid imagery and hell even the intro are just so well done. And just plain weird too.
“What We Do” is absolutely ridiculous and stupid and that’s probably why I love it so much. It’s like a palette cleanser.

I enjoyed "Terminal List" (Amazon Prime) much more than I expected I would. It tiptoes stereotypes of similar shows but also surprises you just when you think a scene will play out a certain way.
There was some cheesy dialogue that made me chuckle from Chris Pratt and others, but overall it was a satisfying watch. 8/10

“Westworld” is back. Really languished for a couple of seasons but loving season 4!
-
Only Murders in the Building is one of my current favorites. Def check it out.
We watched Trainwreck, the Woodstock ‘99 doc on NF. It was pretty cool. I was in the police academy for the last 6 mos of ‘99 so I actually wasn’t aware WS ‘99 was a thing. Seeing truly awful bands like Korn, Limp Biscuit and Kid Rock up there at a self proclaimed peace and love festival (obvious cash grab) and how 80% of the crowd was toxically masculine resulted in quite the… well, trainwreck. I have one criticism but will refrain from sharing until it won’t spoil any one’s watching experience.

I'm feeling pretty gutted that Better Call Saul and the Breaking Bad saga is finally over. I won't discuss any spoilers here… But damn :c
-
Ungh. Cant watch till tonight. No spoilers please.
We actually started re-watching BB to get caught up on the storyline between the 2.
-
Love Wrexham, documentary series with Rob McIlhenny and Ryan Reynolds’s buying the team with the mission of them getting promoted ASAP.
-
"The Resort" on Peacock.
I just finished this show last night. Anyone else watch it? What's starts as a couple on vacation to rekindle their marriage at a Mexican resort, quickly turns into a mystery solving journey with some time travel elements about
2 missing teens. It takes place across 2 simultaneous timelines, 15 years in the past and present day.Though their was some frustrating unanswered questions, I found myself very content at the end and enjoyed the watch.
weird, funny, fun, strange, gorgeous setting, great acting.

@neph93 and @Oaktavia I highly recommend Cyberpunk Edgerunners on Netflix. I know R is a big fan of the movie Akira. The anime gets off to a slow start in the first three episodes. Some of the terminology they use in the anime might not make sense either unless you play the game. But the final two episodes are completely nuts. Like everything in the Cyberpunk game cranked to 11. I'd at least watch those if not the entire thing. Each episode is very short.
Extremely Not-safe-for-work not kid friendly. The anime is full of drug use, nudity, and EXTREME gore.
This is the first few minutes of the show and is also a Brain Dance available in the game:
