21oz Shinayaka Selvedge Denim
-
I did six hours of straight room stripping in them. Knocking through a wall, crow barring out plyboard and architraves and after woods pine flooring then carrying it all out to the skip. Not once did I feel restricted or uncomfortable and that in a pair of pants that are pretty snug on me.

the jeans look up to the task, and the IHV-16 has seen a resurgence of late. Giles ocean fishing, me constantly with the horses and you in home renovation.
well done and have fun.

I’ve put in about six full days with demolition on the house, wearing the Shinayaka each day… I’ll hold off washing them for a while as it isn’t mucky work, just dry and dusty. But I thought we needed a pic here:
I can not believe how easy it is to work in heavy denim this slim. Super comfy, warm and rugged, no restriction to movement.

Starting to see evo around the knees and a bit on the thighs. Looks good!
How is the denim for breath ability? Are they the same as the 21oz?
It’s coming in slowly for sure. Very reminiscent of the standard 21oz in that respect. They’ve only had about 30 days of wear, so this isn’t bad.
As for breathability, I’d say they are less airy than the 21oz but in a good way. They seem warmer, more insulating, but not sticky warm if you see what I mean.

These are looking sooo good. Coming along really well, and after a wash can you show them again?

….after a wash can you show them again?
Of course! I will hold off washing for a while as the temps in the house mean I do not sweat much and often wear an insulating layer under them (long johns). So dusty and grubby, yes, but not smelly. We a have a week or two left of carrying and disposing of crap, together with some tidying up before the contractors start. I’ll give them a wash them and put them back into daily rotation at my day job.

That sounds great. By all means keep giving them hell until you absolutely need to give them that wash.My 666-21s are nowhere near yours and ive been rocking them for 6 months now
I need a physical project to work on:) -
I’ve said it before but I’m going to say it again…
I CANNOT WAIT FOR THESE TO RELEASE!Thanks Rueben

@neph93 are those actual abrasions that could get holes in the honeycomb? or have they simply lost their dye all the way to the white cotton?

I think it is dirt

These look 'bruised' like the regular 21oz does when it starts to show some evo.
