IHSH-293-OD - 18oz Vintage Selvedge Denim CPO Shirt - Indigo Overdyed Black

Great fit man. Looks Awesome. Mine is do on Thursday.

Excellent fits gents, hope mine looks that good.

Got mine in, Large (my normal IH size, my TTS is a Medium). This definitely feels like a great fit. Couldn't get a sweater on under it, but will be able to wear it over a flannel, especially as it breaks in/stretches. This denim is super beefy, so probably only a few more weeks of wear before the summer puts it away.
The color on this thing is amazing, it has such wonderful shimmering blue colors poking through everywhere that just can't be captured in a photo. I have no idea how this could have been deemed "not Iron enough" as this thing is practically armor.

Agreed on both counts. If this was initially considered "not iron enough", I'd probably be too terrified to wear whatever is iron.

Large here dig it … any body lift weights it’s hard to bend at the elbow lol

I placed my order today after seeing all these fit pics and testimonials. (Random thought: I wonder how much sales volume is driven by the forums each year)
I love that this shirt is so versatile and can be paired with virtually any bottoms.

I'd say that's the pros and cons of the forum right here on this page. No doubt Giles wishes every now and then that he didn't have to think out loud on the internet about the stuff he's trying to sell (the Iron-factor ;D), but then you've got these great fit pics selling shirts.
The wide-ish shoulder on these gives it a real 'shacket' feel, looks great.

Great photos gents …...question can I wear my good white t’s underneath without worry of dye bleeding ?

Yep, definitely hard to bend the arms. Am asking for a larger size (which I should've done as this is a OD item). Man, can't believe I am that guy. In the 178 I think someone had a similar pic.

Lol, similar elbows this evening for me too. I had no motion issues though, large is definitely the right fit for me (full ability to move my arms and shoulders in all directions) but the 18oz denim is brutal friction-wise during the break-in.

Yeah I wore it for a few hours and could tell It was stretching and getting easier the bend … combs will look decent .... eventually..... Anybody notice the dye staining white T?

So this thing stretches? If so, do the chest and shoulder areas stretch out? My main gripe with the shirt, other than the tight elbow is it "feel" small when new. Should I give the shirt a chance? Here's a fit pic. I really don't think this shirt will ever be a jacket for me (worn outside of another shirt), even with some stretching. I also think the shirt can use another inch in length too.

This might be my favorite denim IH shirt. It's so damn comfy and the sizing was spot on.
Thanks for the cool threads.

I think it looks fine. But if it feels tight, and too small, then it will probably never be comfortable for you. The dimensions will relax a little if put under stress, but a shirt will never stretch like jeans.

Thanks for clarifying this. Ok will likely exchange for a XXL then. For me, perhaps the IHSH-246NIN spoiled me with that slightly larger and longer cut. I feel so much more relaxed wearing that shirt. These tighter cuts sometimes make me feel I'm trying too hard.
