16oz Slubby Denim

I'm interested to see what cut this is and what that patch will look like. I'm hoping it is the forbidden cut that is not to be named here.
-
Yeah, I think indigo stitching would be ideal, show off all the slubby-ness.
-
- The extravagant use of dual-tone stitching
Live Large! Love it, very curious about the mystery cut too. -
Iron Heart and slub, I never thought I'd see the day!
Nor me…..It's part of the new "I will try and make things that people want, not just things that I like" policy from H....When he told me this, I placed my hand on his forehead and asked him if he was feeling OK....
Niicceee!!!!
For the avoidance of doubt. The 5 core cuts will not include any of the following:
- The patch (will not see the light of day on any garment)
- The placement of the "W"
- The shape of the pocket
- The extravagant use of dual-tone stitching
I wasn't feeling the pocket shape. Everything else i could work with.

I like the patch, but this doesn't bother me at all. I don't like the placement of the "W" or the Lee-esque pocket shape, so that's great. I didn't even notice the dual tone stitching until you mentioned it, so that's no big deal.
In other words, I'm still totally onboard for a pair…

Hoping for a high rise straight leg cut

Lovely stuff. I get the sinking feeling that come this autumn I’ll be in a quandary between these and the reborn UHR.

The eagle has landed! [emoji1659]
Hey everyone. Just wanted to pop in here and let you know a little project that the team and I hatched up. I’ve got my hands on the 777 Slub sample and am looking to thrash them as much as possible.
My main goal is to go on 100 hikes in this pair and see what kind of evo can happen with the Slub. Along with that, I’m also looking to lose my COVID 15 (more like 30) and get back into shape. Along with COVID, I started to work from home, I had a procedure done on my back, and then my family welcomed my 2nd son into this world. Pretty much sums up to a much more sedentary life for me.
So now. I’ve got some serious motivation to get outside and lose some weight. Kinda want to try and show up neph93 and his awesome sample SST fades.
I’ll be looking to update you all weekly with some photos of the denim. With that said. What kind of shots are you looking for? louisbosco mentioned some macro shots of the denim, which I’ll give my best attempt at once I juice up my DSLR. I’m open to anything and everything. I’m hoping this is about all of you just as much as it is about my personal journey.

First hike went down this Morning. 5.5 miles at Blue Spruce Park. I took some quick fit pics when it was 7:15 am and still 32 / 0 degrees. I’m hoping to get some better ones tomorrow in the sun.
These are definitely the tightest jeans I have, but all the more reason to give it my all in working out. The waist has definitely given way a bit which is nice. The tightest part for me is definitely the thighs, which I’ve never had an issue with before. Still have enough range of motion to hike up a hill. Not enough to go knees to chest. Looking forward to the denim doing its thing and conforming to my body more as I wear them.
I gotta say though the feel is rough and textured, but in the best way possible. It’s pretty much the opposite of the uniform of the flagship 21. The weight is perfect. I haven’t worn jeans less than 21oz since 2011. So it’s been a major change for me. Looking forward to my next hike tomorrow!
