I like that look Neph! I think these are really gonna suit your style!
Thank you!
Regarding CPO’s. The cut of the of both the western and the work shirt CPO’s are a little different from their non CPO counterparts. A little wider in the shoulder and waist normally, with slightly longer arms.

Thanks for clearing that up Neph… mostly cpo (Iron Heart terminology) just means slightly oversized, meant to be worn as a mid/outer layer. I got it
Come on 1600 GMT!! -
I've been waffling on this for the past 30min since I'm all stocked up on heavyweight shirts that I never wear here in SoCal. But f*ck it. Copped.

Grateful for my grey wool 163 to help me as I fought the urge to pick this up. @neph93 thanks for the reminder pic!
Looking forward to seeing how this looks on those that picked one up…

Having two 163’s did not stop me from picking one up [emoji51] They are two of my favourites though, so they were more inspiration than discouragement. It is currently still in Gosport but pics when I get for sure.

Arrived today and it’s glorious. I am normally an XXL in UHFs and sized down to an XL for this - the fit is spot on but not really suited to being a true overshirt; it looks great just over a tee. The fabric hand is fantastic and could see wearing this alone if it wasn’t for the dry cleaning aspect.
That being said, could one get away with washing this by hand or gentle cycle on cold and lay flat to dry? Given how it fits, I can’t really afford any shrinkage… [insert joke here]

These are dry clean only, @Manticore
-
sized down to xl which might have been a mistake. Then again maybe I should drop some weight ::) -
Wear it unbuttoned… that's what I do when some of my shirts randomly get too tight (mostly around Xmas :D)
Nevertheless looking great @steelworker -

Nevertheless looking great @steelworker^ Agreed with ALL of this.
Tried mine on yesterday. Like you, the arms and shoulders are good, but the length combined with the slimmer opening makes it a little trim. The chest works. One encouraging thing I noticed for the half hour I wore it, is that the fabric has some stretch to it. Not surprising, given it is wool.

Very pleased I managed to pick one of these up. The collaboration has lent itself to a product that has a slightly different feel and look to it from a traditional IH offering. The fabric is really nice and something different which is why I purchased one.
I picked up a large and will wear it over a thin T-shirt like a standard shirt.
Poor picture but it gives you an idea of fit. I am 5ft 10" and 185 lb.

Very nice indeed. I really enjoy the pocket design, size and placement, as well as the big buttons. It is a great piece and the combination of heritage fabric with Haraki-san’s modern detailing results in an understated elegance and refined functionality.
