Yes sorry, thanks
No probs. Good luck, with the release. They often move quickly after a restock.

torn between this one in xxl and IHSH-295-IB with copper snaps upgrade in xL

@neph93 a lot, hmm but maybe it is too heavy for all year around? Guess I cant go wrong here
-
@Tom:
maybe it is too heavy for all year around?
I doubt it, but that depends on personal preference and local climate. I’d imagine it would work well as a jacket, over a tee on summer evenings. They can be layered under also as the fit id subtly different than standard westerns.
Mine gets worn all year except for winter.

Thanks for the input 293 it is

Great choice. The 293 is the most versatile piece in my wardrobe. In my climate (Seattle) it's in the rotation year round.

we have the same boat.
I've taken a gamble and bought the last one in a Small. 50/50 chance I'll have to return it though

I managed to get one (M) before they were sold out.
Got it 2 days ago and have been wearing it since.
I love it and I´m sure it will be a favorite for many years ahead. -
Awesome evo on that shirt, @Jcaz6996

After shoveling snow this morning in 0 F temperatures I have finally decided that I need this shirt in my life. I've read through all the previous posts about sizing. It seems the general consensus is to stick with your normal IH shirt sizing even if you plan on layering over something thicker than a t-shirt.
Has anyone sized up on this from their normal IH shirt sizing? And what was your experience?
I'm leaning towards sticking with my normal IH sizing (size medium), but the measurements are a little on the smaller side for waist and opening so I'm considering sizing up to a large knowing that the shoulder and sleeve measurements are gonna be a little too big.
Anyways just thinking out loud before I drop $415 on this. Any advice would be welcomed and greatly appreciated. Thank you.

This CPO is awesome. However, I can't wear this layered over anything much heavier than a t-shirt in my normal IH sizing. I took this in a Large, I have the non-OD in a Large, and several UHFs also in Large. The non-OD can be worn over the UHFs, but this OD can't be. That said, neither of them can have their cuffs snapped closed over the cuffs of a UHF, the cuffs on this are too narrow to fit over the bulky cuffs of a UHF. If you absolutely need to wear this over something bulky, size up. That said, I personally wear this just as a shacket over a t-shirt, for a slimmer, more streamlined fit, and it works great for that.

@Nobunaga the original versions of these shirts (IHSH-76 and -99) had the CPO cut and were sized big. So the XL measured like an XXL at the chest, while also being longer in the body and arm and wider at the shoulder and waist.
These versions are sized more like regular UHF’s except for the typical IH CPO cut differences.
Tl/Dr: tts if you want it as a shirt, size up to wear over a hoodie, UHF, etc. like @rydor said.
