Jacques Marie Mage (JMM) - Sunglasses and Frames…

I don’t think any of them know what JMM are yet.
This is my way of doing things.I agree — it's pretty fun that they're still sort of this small, cult thing that not a ton of people seem to know about. I hope it lasts
That what Tareq said to me yesterday JMM stay’s that way like Iron Heart is.

I think those days may already be gone. I saw optical JMMs Sunday on each of the two television programs I watched:
"Off the Wall Builds" S1E1 Unique Desert Getaway: client husband wore one of the wayfarer-based models in Rover
"Top Chef" the episode from this season, last Thursday (S19E5) and the attached "Last Chance Kitchen," the host Tom Colicchio was wearing translucent/transparent gray JMMs of some sort.

@mclaincausey I'll just keep fooling myself for a little while longer

They'll always be limited IMO. The nature of the production is a limiting factor and the limited edition is a fundamental marketing approach JMM has taken. I would imagine there's only so much room to scale production but could easily be wrong–either way, that would take time.
I think if Jerome ever wanted to move downmarket he would establish a diffusion brand using more industrial and less hands-on manufacturers, and would never dilute the quality and rarity of JMM.

Thanks for tagging me, thinking where you have disappear to
When you start with one end up with
Having 4 pairs now, becoming a loyal customer got a free JMM case tooNext pair don’t know yet as I got my mind on many things, for JMM
Dakota am thinking on this one, like buying a high end item or winning the world cup
Needs some JMM normal glasses for long visions, gotta be the perfect frame and around me in my town nobody
have them or has them. The four I have I like them all
Frame wise trust me Walker’s are the winners, like wearing a pair of 25oz jeans by Iron Heart.
But I know in the end I will end up with more pair’s
Am a bad influence on Iron Heart, GAH and now JMM

I like my amber Juliens with denim, but the Molino is just over the top good with everything else. The finish on my pair of Molino is also leagues ahead of my Juliens, which have some imperfections in the polish. I didnt notice the flaws until a month after owning them so it isnt super obvious but still a little disappointing.

Having seen anyone looking less than excellent in these things. Is it even possible to get a bad fit with them??
Great job team

@Anesthetist those blemishes or imperfections can easily be buffed out; one reason I lean towards acetate frames.
Not to be a narc, but you could also inform JMM of the issue and, if they ask, you have the craftsperson's name in your paperwork. I am sure they would like to know about quality issues that made it through QC. Pretty sure they would handle refinishing or replacing for you.

@mclaincausey these are the blemishes:
You can see the consistent, almost concentric bit marks on the top of the frames and you can feel them with a fingernail. I only noticed them once in bright sunlight/ kitchen light. It isnt a huge deal, so I’ll probably let it go, but I’ll definitely scrutinize the frames a bit more in the future. One thing to note is that I bought this pair from a local dealer, so it is possible someone polished them before putting them in the display? My Mollino came directly from JMM and are flawless and I’ve worn them twice as often.

This is like having a friend who buys a new sportscar every week. You want to be the good friend and maybe mention that that's not such a financially wise decision, but he lets you drive them around the block after purchasing them, so you're a bit torn
