@Filthy:
Ha, thanks for thinking of me! That was interesting!
I recently refined my diet after reading a book written by the guy whose diet I've been loosely following for years and one of the things he highly recommends is caffeine. He goes so far as to recommend a 100mg caffeine pill every 2 hours (4 - 5 times a day) if you can't drink that much coffee. Said that you'll burn half a pound a week just by increasing your caffeine intake to those levels. I don't ingest anywhere near that much caffeine but the coffee that I do have throughout the day definitely keeps me from feeling hungry.

I highly recommend this podcast about the Surfside condo collapse in Miami. though it's a sad topic, the podcast is a great listen and it's well formatted.

Cheers @jordanscollected ! Your recommendations have all been top-notch so far and I have listened to nearly all of them so this is going on next.
For me, the last couple of Lex Friendman guests have been AMAZING!!
Ariel Ekblaw: Space Colonization and Self-Assembling Space Megastructures
Brett Johnson: US Most Wanted Cybercriminal

He's great @Graham ; Sean Carroll's podcast is a good science one too, though like Fridman he ranges far beyond science in the guests and topics.

I recommend the Poog podcast. Been listening to it for awhile. Last weekend saw Jacqueline Novak’s comedy show ‘Get on Your Knees’ at Soho Theatre in London and it was great. The podcast is a conversation between two comics about beauty and wellness, sort of, and is often hilarious.

The real question is, how is there not an IHUK forum podcast yet
I have had this brilliant idea
We're going to start an Iron Heart podcast.
We are just sorting out details…...
(thanks @Appfaff ;))
I love the podcast! I’ve listened to both seasons!

I'm a podcast junkie. Some of my favorites:
Analog Talk - everything analog photography related
THE GRAIL with Dean Delray - high end oddities. Denim, wine, music, watches, audio equipment, etc
Huberman Lab - health and wellness
-
I'll have to give that one a listen. My only qualm with Huberman is his podcasts tend to be LONGGGG. Make for great road trip listening.

I've been using podcasts to cut through (some of) the fog on the Ukraine war. For those interested the best podcasts on the subject I've found is "Ukraine The Latest", by The Telegraph, which puts out one episode each day.
Also good on defense & strategy, but not dedicated to the conflict in Ukraine, are "The Warcast", "War on the Rocks", "Angry Planet", and "Geopolitics decanted".

This show got me through the COVID lockdowns, I don't think anyone has better rants and improvisations comedic skill.
Do you still listen?
Hey that is awesome man!! Tim has a great perspective and I do get a lot of joy out of his podcasts. Glad you are enjoying them also!! Cheers!

Dan Carlin - Hardcore History is my fav podcast. Covers mostly war, violence, human extremes over the ages (ancient to WW2 / Cold War era)
Highly recommend for any history buffs.
-
@jordanscollected Serial got me on the podcast train as well. The Afghanistan War US deserter Bowe Bergdahl season got me hooked.

So cool to be seeing this new forum! Looks grand!
Speaking of Podcasts, there are two that I've listened to for a while now that I thought to share:
Glitch Bottle looks at the magical, the occult, the esoteric, and lots of wicked cool shit from practitioners and people who practice with the aforementioned.
The Drive Through & The Jim Cornette Experience are weekly shows featuring Jim Cornette; the most knowledgable man in professional wrestling today! Always a good laugh and if you like the business, there is no better place to learn.
-
@deadendpro never thought I'd find another Cult of Cornette member here! Jim has been a staple in my life for 4/5 years, I fall asleep listening to him most evenings. Much to the dismay of everyone I've ever shared a bed with haha...

For those who like history - ‘The Rest is History’ which is both very funny and informative.
For those who like politics - ‘The Rest is Politics’.
