IH-9526PJ - 21oz Non-Fade Denim Modified Type III - Superblack
-
My favorite jacket.
-
^I can see why. Looks great!

Received mine two days ago and couldn’t be happier with it. There’s nothing quite like a new, super heavy IH denim jacket and nobody does it better than IH.
-
This jacket is by and far away my favorite from IH to date. It’s an angry piece of gear. I have it the dreaded soak, wear until dry self loathing treatment and now it fits like an armored denim exoskeleton.

Has anyone had their soften up?
I cant get this to wear in for the life of me haha. I can barely even button it up!
-
@jordanf nope mine's still hard as nails too

@neph93 @LewisStonehouse
She's definitely a cruel mistress! But @sabergirl provides hope.I think I might have to start sleeping in it haha.

Ha! When I hear two years to break a pair of jeans in, my first thought is there's no hope for a jacket. I actually quite like how mine feels on, it's stiff but has conformed to my body to an extent

Anyone with first-hand experience know how the sizing on these compares to the 14oz version they carry at SE? I only have access to the 14oz to try on locally and based on the measurements it seems that one runs about a size small in the body by comparison, but what isn't clear is the width of the arms.
The 14oz I tried in S was too snug to comfortably button but fit nicely in the arms. The M in the 14oz was a good fit in the torso but the arms were far too wide for my liking.
I'd like to get one of these, and thinking S would be the way to go, but if the arms are baggy it would be a no-go for me.
