Giles and Paula Hit Japan and West Coast - USA - April 2018

Giles and I arrived this morning to a very wet and windy Tokyo.  We found our AirBnB apartment (which is tiny but double the size of the hotel room we stayed in last time, and half the cost) so we're cosy and comfy.  After a little bit of catch-up sleep, our first mission was to visit a scuba dive store to seek out Gull diving fins.  The place we found in Shinkjuku was an Alladin's Cave of goodies! New bright blue his'n'her bright blue fins were duly copped!

It wasn't difficult to identify the staff, in their colourful "uniforms"!

Then some yakitori, beer for Giles and a glass of wine for me (which turned up as half a bottle - result!)

Sadly, not all our luggage travelled with us.  We're tucked up in bed now (9:20pm) so that we're up bright and early for meetings with H and crew tomorrow morning.  I'd like to say we'll be nice and fresh for our morning meetings, but the missing bag contains ALL my clothes and most of Giles's - wish us luck!

Strategy meeting? You should have said, there’s a random guy on IG right now who has some great ideas for IH and isn’t afraid to share them. I think they can be crystallised into the concept: I think IH gear is too expensive. Make it cheaper [emoji23]

I think the guy who asked to be deleted from the IH forum a while ago didn't want to see IH gear on too many people in which case he should start a brand only for himself and let no one else wear it.
