Take any before soak and post soak @Filthy ? These your daily jeans for a while?
I sorry, I didn't. But I know they shrunk because they were like a Chinese finger trap over my calves last night trying to take them off! I almost started to panic. Before the soak they slid right off. I would say somewhere between an .5 and 1 inch in all the usual places.
Yes these are going to be my daily jeans for as long as possible.

I posted the same question on the 555XHSib thread - did anyone who already buy the Pronto double indigo collab, buy a pair in this denim too? If so, please give me your reasoning (trying desperately to justify)…
I own both. And also several pairs of regular XHS.
I bought these because of the better fit. Also them denim in the new 888 is probably HEAVIER. Like it seems a lot heavier. Which is a huge plus for me.

Well I just placed the order. its all over but the crying.

Buy quality and only cry once.

The best fades come from initial soaks composed of 1 part tears, 4 parts tap water

Congrats @deanclean
Excited to see everyone's pics and hear their experiences here. Should have mine in hand in a week or so.

Yeah, I am super grateful that Iron Heart is cool enough to spring for FREE 2 day overseas shipping. I have tried to pay for the same UPS service and it was over $100.
Also, I am in love with the leg openings on the jeans, and the stacks. The honeycombs look freaking epic too because of the thickness of the denim. These jeans are a masterpiece.

@tvenuto I agree. I always go for the quality over quantity. At 600 CAD for these its a bit of a stretch, but I will be wearing them for years. I look in my wife's closet and see about 100 pairs of jeans that are basically "disposable" fashion. Ive got about 5 pairs that I wear regularly and will last basically forever. I also never wash them so im saving water too! ;D.

Looking good Bro!!! Making me excited to get mine in a few days.
For the first time ever, I sized down, and (I hope) I am ready for "the fight"…..
Ganbatte!

Thanks a lot.
I like these so much I am thinking about buying the last 38. Seriously tempted.

If you could rerun half as many this time around- and then make some sort of vest that has a zipper and snap closure, that also has size 4XL, that'd be great.
-
The small leg openings facilitate very easy stacks. I mean, they were no effort at all.

We have enough of this fabric to make another 300 somethings. We may rerun the 555 or the 888….
Since you brought this up, I've never really understood statements like "We'll never run this fabric again" or the one you just made. Why is it that certain fabrics can't be made or purchased again? Cost prohibitive? Or more of a desire to change things up?
