IHSH-237-BLK - Ultra Heavy Flannel Crazy Check Western Shirt - Black
-
Very cool. My only gripe are the measurements, I think XL could be too small in the shoulders. Might go with XXL. In a perfect world I would see all other UHFs in comparison as I intend not to buy more than two this year. Mustard is hard to pass by and the black herringbone as well.
How heavy & warm would you rate the kersey fabric in comparison?

The sleeve length (at least for size small) seems to be longer than my other UHFs

Ooh yeah. Glad to see a good spread of vendors getting this shirt [emoji41]

If you do a forum search for «sleeve length» you’ll find a long debate regarding this topic from a few years ago. The short of it is that longer is deemed better on the basis that everyone can do something with a longer sleeve where as shorter sleeves will exclude some people. There is also the design aspect. Traditionally, H-san designs longer than average sleeves on shirting so that they don’t rise up the arm, thus leaving exposed skin, when on a bike.

Yep. Looks great!

I'm gonna lose sleep not being able to decide between an M and L

Wow [emoji54] Such a beautiful shirt!
The P2P measurement on the XXXXL is just too small for me. …need more like 64.5 cm P2P.
If there’s a super large one in the mix, I’ll take it. In the meantime, I’ll be (im)patiently awaiting measurements on the work version.

They often come up a little larger in a direct comparison and there is an argument that they work better on bigger guys anyway. The cut is certainly more accomodating. It boils down to personal choice in the end though.

I agree, and I’m also a fan of the chain stitch runoff on the work shirt version as well. …fingers crossed that the measurements work for me[emoji1696]

I assume it's one of the biggest - if not THE biggest - UHF releases when looking at how many retailers have jumped on the bandwagon. The shirt is a future classic for sure.

@AdamJ great idea on separating the stockists by country, it's very helpful for the buyer. Appreciate the extra attention to detail on that.

That was my observation as well. Good thing too because it means I won’t have to worry about it selling out

I'm pretty sure it was the most popular item in terms of volume from the F/W19 collection!
