I say the same thing. The red really stands out.

BBQ picnic with the family today. They were out of our usual favorite of pulled pork. So my mom decided to get us all baby back ribs. There wasn’t any left
My son Damian Kofi munching on some
My wife and Mother in Law
This beer paired pretty well. Made in Pennsylvania
My dad decided to drive his fun car up, a Chrysler Crossfire. We had a little photo shoot by it as we said our goodbyes.
My mother in law stayed with my wife and I for about a year and a half. She cooked, took care of our son while we worked, and most importantly drank beer with me. I’m really sad to see her go. She did so much for our family. Nana’s Ghanaian friends all stopped over and said their goodbyes too. We got pretty emotional by the end of the day. Hopefully we don’t have to wait too long to see her again. Our next vacation will be to Ghana to catch up and introduce myself and our son to the rest of her family.I still had a ton of fun today too despite all the emotions. I was honored to be a co-host on the Podcast Hour of the Global Denim Hang and got to see a bunch of faces from around the world.
If you don’t know. My podcast is called Vir Vulnerabilis Vir. It’s Latin for “A Vulnerable Man”. Albert Imperato (@UpstateDenimGuy on IG) and I host this show which definitely talks about denim, but also the stories behind the clothes. Especially the really personal, life changing, epic ones [emoji16] We have our first episode of Season 2 featuring outlaw country singer Boo Ray. He actually has his own line of chambray western shirts within a company I’m forgetting right now, but an amazing story and talent with him.
And here’s some more shots of the jacket!!!
Hope you all had a great day! [emoji1308][emoji170][emoji158]Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

An overcast and rainy day in Pittsburgh. I’m a bit worn out from yesterday and earlier this morning driving to the airport. So today luckily is just relaxing and getting a few chores done around the house. Have a great relaxing Sunday [emoji75] take a cat nap for me if you can.

Awesome updates @Fadez ! The family bbq looked great, your parents are bold to wear white shirts when man handling ribs! Shoulda asked your pops if you could take the jacket for a spin in his red convertible

Great smiles all around @Fadez.

Thanks everyone!!
[mention]RoxRocks86 [/mention] I would have totally taken it for a ride… if I knew how to drive it [emoji854] I think my dad didn’t teach me how to drive a manual so that he could get cars like this and his kids wouldn’t drive them haha.

The great apartment remix. Phase one
This will be taken apart and the slats deconstructed. What was our second bedroom, became ours, which will now become my office/studio.
This was originally my office and studio, then once Covid happened my wife took over. She works full time from home over the phone. So it’s not ideal for making and mixing music. I’m going to take out my desk with the speakers and transfer it to the room with the bed frame.
The dining room area will eventually become our new bedroom. My mother in law was sleeping in this area before. Now we’re taking it over to make some space for our work. We’ll be getting in a very simple bedframe and a room divider too. Last night was the first night sleeping not in a bedroom. It wasn’t that bad. Maybe because I was so worn out after moving that into the room and cleaning up.We’ve definitely outgrown our apartment and are in the process of being approved for a home loan. Our goal is/was to be in our new home by Feb 1st 2021, but with the quarantine, her mom staying an extra 6 months and just life in general we’ll probably need a few extra months to make it all happen.
My life has drastically changed in the last 2 years. Today is actually my 2nd anniversary with my wife. We’re not doing anything special really. We had a jam packed weekend and she’s taking some time off work to adjust to her mom not being here and the changes to our lives. We are also looking for childcare but that’s almost impossible at this point. So it looks like I’ll be working from home soon and trying to manage toddler care at the same time. But who could resist this beautiful boy??
His play room / our living room on any given day
I couldn’t resist having a little fun too
Hope you all like a little look into my personal life. Looking forward to showing you the finished results!

Love catching up on this thread. You’ve got a lovely family and I hope you get to see your MIL and your wife’s fam soon! Does your little guy cuff his denims yet? My daughter started doing it one day on her own and I love it!
Good luck with housing, every time I go out of town I always look at listings and I can say that we are completely spoiled price wise in the midwest [emoji15] Will you be staying in Pitt? My bro is in Morgantown now but lived in Shadyside and then Squirrel Hill. We really, really like Pittsburgh and could see ourselves there.

This is how my little office turned out. It’s gonna sound like trash bc a window and then a weird closet right behind it, but it is what it is. At least it will be someplace to work and A dedicated place to make some tunes. Also picked up this pair from [mention]kkibbey23 [/mention] Just gave them a soak and am stoked to pair with the jacket. They should be dry by tomorrow to snap some pics

[mention]Anesthetist [/mention] Thanks man. Yeah. We are going to stay in the area. I actually work in Shadyside so I’m familiar with that area. Very nice. We’re not going for the heart of the city, but something that works price and space wise. There are a few neighboring suburbs around that we are looking into. One main goal is to start trading BJJ again so I’d like to be close to a gym if possible. But that’s a few months down the road to really know what’s possible. Pittsburgh is a great city. Very easy to live, but as of now not so so much to do. Pretty much take out and outdoor sports. So lots of cycling, walking, and hiking going down. Definitely check it out! You’ll really like Shadyside for sure
