Get the larger and shrink it. You'll get 1/2 a size of shrinkage. Wash at 30C, if that does not get you enough shrinkage, wash at 40, repeat in +10C increments until you get where you want to end up.
Ah I see. I can still exchange for the XXL at SENY. My main concern with the XL is in the shoulders. Would the shoulders come in a bit on the XXL? The sleeve in it were quite long as well. Thanks Giles you’re a legend!

I think the XL looks good but you’ll need to take very good care of it if you want to avoid it becoming too small.
The XXL is a little long in the arms and a little wide but G-san quite right, a hot wash will sort it out. It will shrink in all directions, including the shoulders.

thanks for the feedback neph . With the color and the western pattern I feel like this shirt lends itself to a slimmer fit. How much shrink can I expect from a cold machine wash and hang dry?
