IHE-37 - 21oz Denim Waist Bag - Superblack Non-Fade

Thanks @dinobarnesberlin I'll post some pics here soon after it lands tomorrow. Talk about a swift turnaround, thanks guys!
@Giles if the std badge is glued and then stitched in place, do you have any tips on removing gluey residue, or what type of glue might be used?
My fall back will be to put it back, or place the new woven patch in its place Either way, I am hoping I don't fess it up!

It is glued @GC. That stopped me from pulling it up. I probed between the label and the bag using a needle. It won’t let itself be lifted and the needle tip came back out quite sticky. So far I’ve left it at that.

Thanks @motojobobo that is good to know, before I attempt removing it. Would you have said, given the glue sounds like it hadn't gone off, it would pick and flick, so to speak? I was thinking of the freezing technique often used to remove chewing gum?

Don’t know enough about glue to answer that. I suppose you could also sew on your new patch over the original label without removing it. Bet it’ll completely cover it.
-
That is true, the only first world issue with that is, the badge then needs to sit high and tight to the snap. Cheers @motojobobo , I appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. I'll share the outcome here, which will probably result in me chickening out and leaving it exactly as it is… lets see.

Couldn't be happier with this bag! If the military made bags, I doubt it would be tough as this.
Absolutely love the brass snap swap out too, IMO the perfect marriage.
I'll hopefully report back later this week when I have more time to experiment with badges, and the volume of beer it can house.
-
It came out looking sharp @GC..everything fits.
Looks like its built like a tank and Im gonna go out on a limb and guess that Beer volume/transportation should be a breeze.
-
@GC did you sew the patch on top of the label?
-
Thanks @dinobarnesberlin I'm very pleased with it.
@motojobobo not yet, just rested the badge under the edge of the snap. I did though see some of the glue you spoke of, at the very edge of the label, so reluctant to remove it entirely without more time to work out how I'll safely remove it. It was certainly gummy, so might pick and flick off. I'll let you know how it goes later this week when I get some time.

Excellent choice @cityofdelusion fits in wonderfully with the rest of that outfit.

This superstrong bag is equally at home carting iphone and documents as well as thick chains and padlocks. I recently ripped the leather pull on the zipper and just now put a new one on it, thicker this time. I believe I took this leather pull from an IH jacket or parka but don’t remember which one.
Such a versatile tool on the motorcycle.

Looks like it is breaking in really nicely [emoji41]
