IHSH-246-NIN - 12oz Selvedge Denim Western Shirt – Natural Indigo
-
Beautiful, but really starting to get priced out the game now. £80 more than the new 33s.is that solely the cost of sourcing and the process of using natural indigo, or have production costs in Japan jumped that much?

Would this be the same factory that produced the 12oz wabash workshirts? I've reported back before about blown button holes being an issue.
Probably, but the pitch of the weave on the Wabash is different than the 12oz denim, so the buttonhole issue is much much less of an issue….

I have the 33T in XL and it fits perfect. No comparable measurements on this one, and $400 is high for a piece that will need alterations.
I’ve been trying to talk myself into this one all day. -

I’ve been looking at the charts for the standard IHSH-33-IND (which shrinks a bit), and it seems the main difference is the length. The IHSH-33-T is even more similar to the Hurt with the exception of length. Is that your concern?
For my part, sizing down on the NIN compared to my 33-IND would be the way to go.

Length, and sleeve length.

@Giles thanks for confirming. I'm not complaining, just being mindful of weighing up next purchases.
This shirt is pretty much a Dream shirt for me, and XXL sizing looks good, allowing for a little shrinkage. My IH 33 indigo is one of my favourite pieces ever (and I am still really appreciative of the repair job).

Lovely indigo color. Unfortunately, that fit would not work for me, tight in front, extra fabric in the back, and too long to use the bottom button.
Maybe it would work if you tuck it in. -
This is a beauty shirt. I assume that it will stretch a bit (like all denim) with wear?

Both of you gents are looking good. This one is on my hit list and I know I wont be able to hold out much longer.

I am torn again, M or L? The M is snug with no snap pull and creates a tight silhouette, arm length spot on out of the bag. The L looks great too and but is as expected a looser fit. Upper arms are baggier and the back is too. Writing this sounds like its a no brainer but any shrinkage and I fear the M will be too small.
I read the IHSH-33 shrinks a little, anyone with a better understanding of these fabrics be kind enough to share what this shirt might do? I have to assume it will hit the washing machine at one point in its life along with with the kids cloths at the default 40deg.

Personally i would go with a large. I would rather it be a bit big than too tight. I don't own on of these so maybe I'm not the guy to take advice from lol
