The Great Outdoors - Hiking and so on…
-
Bali, Java, Sumatra, Singapore is the plan.
First nights in Bali and last two nights in Singapore are booked, apart from that there’s still a lot of room (almost 4 weeks to be precise) for spontaneity -
@AdamC If I were you, I'd be sticking very close to this guy, doing the charitable thing and helping lighten his load...

An oven would be a more useful appliance on cold peaks than a fridge!

@Giles @weftyarn nothing much to hike in Singapore, but if you like walking, you can check this out
https://www.ostrichtrails.com/asia/singapore/orchard-road-walking-trail/Or get over to our bukit timah hill, for a little small mountain walk.

pretty steep when going down...And please, wear your shorts, drink more water and get hydrates! We are summer all year long!

@Scasi Thanks for the recommendations! Although I don’t expect us to have much left in our thighs after Java & Sumatra
So it’ll more likely be us strolling around the city from cafe to cafe, enjoying the architecture, doing photography etc… - which Singapore is not the worst place for from what I’ve heard? So you guys actually wear shorts? Thought it was XHS & 21OZ only. Uh wait, they can be chicken legged right?
Jokes aside, we’re really looking forward to the warmer temps! -
Nothing better than hiking with cool friends who are locals that know their backyard - very well. Most of the spots were closed a few days ago so we had most of the NW park to ourselves.
Bears are a plenty, especially right after the snow thaw.

@weftyarn LOL don't get fooled with the IG post of them wearing the heavy stuffs! But if you are indoor, like the mall, shorts or berms will be a bit too cold. I always have friends from overseas saying our indoor air-conditions is set too low!!!!
yeah the photography part will be nice for you, check out the national gallery

from here, you can have a great walk and into bars and cafe! -
