It’ll be a while until we are going back in. Right now coordinating between the dentist and the specialist on the best approach. Our dentist has an 8 yo that needs the same thing done and even he is having difficulties.
There is a specialist about an hour away that specializes in this and we may be going there.
Thankfully she’s not terrified yet, but avoiding that is our goal. We may do an oral sedation and pull them while she’s semi conscious or we may do a general anesthesia if nothing else works.
Biggest issue is she doesn’t have room for the adult teeth and because of a misalignment between the baby/adult teeth the babies aren’t going to get pushed out.

@goosehd clearly not a good day but I suspect everything will come good. Hope you manage to work out a plan with the dentist/specialist.
As a child my dentist used to treat my teeth with something that made me vomit every time and I needed some teeth taking out to make space for the adult ones. When older they moved on to using dental crowbars quite aggressively to get rid of hard scale. Surprisingly I’m still ok with going to the dentist, although glad the crowbars have now been replaced with a pressure washer (I guess dentists have more neutral terminology).

Has she considered a bar fight to get the tooth knocked out?
Hope my humour isn’t unwelcome @goosehd that sounds really brutal for her and totally heartbreaking for you and family. Best wishes for a painless solution. -
@Nik No issue at all and my way of dealing with life. It’s easy to get drawn down into the negative aspects of life and a little bit of laughter helps reset perspective.
Appreciate all of you guys chiming in today. She seems fine and as if nothing happened today. That’s a welcome bit of positive to the situation and gives us steps to a solution.

She sounds strong and as though she’s got good support

Such a handy little ring-sizing do-dad. Amazed no one thought of this before:
Basically a zip-tie that goes around your finger and tells you your ring size.

@Matt I picked mine up visiting Great Frog jewellers in Soho, London. (Incidentally, my barber recommended I check them out after noticing my GAH chain.) They have some quite cool designs, very metal/biker/tattoo inspired.

Looking forward to the reveal of the upcoming winter collection (which is hopefully very soon :hand_with_index_and_middle_fingers_crossed:)

I am taking part in this year's Distinguished Gentlemen's Ride (DGR). I've been wanting to do it for year and this will be the first year I'm taking part in, and with great luck with a Triumph, who are also the major force behind this. If you do not know, DGR is a charity ride in support and to raise awareness of Men's mental health and for prostate cancer research.
If any of you would like to donate and support, I would be eternally grateful.
