The (Less intimidating) Watch Thread

Geez Louise... I missed out on those jeans. Searching the store now, and my size/cut combo is nowhere to be seen. It looks GORGEOUS.
But back on the topic of less intimidating watches, I'm thinking to re-buy a brass Maranez Talay. I sold mine to @sabergirl several years ago, and I really miss it

Forgot I had this one! The Zane Lamprey for Debaufre Drinkmaster Professional

@Anesthetist That is awesome and I hope it’s a rotating bezel…
-
@goosehd it does rotate, how else could you time your happy hour?

@Matt thanks Matt!

Did a fun project in 2017 of a Seiko SNKK45 to Gerald Genta inspired piece -
I’m an unabashed watch nerd. It’s not what you spend on a watch, but rather, what you enjoy about any specific reference.
I started here … with the SKX009j
Ended (for now) here with the 321.
Lots of others in between.

Oh hell yeah @Anesthetist I def want to see those. I have my first from 86 or 87. I put a new band on it because the old one deteriorated. This was before I realized it would not be serviceable. Honestly, considering how often I actually use a watch to tell time over looking at my phone, I could just wear it as a bracelet.

Garmin Fenix 5x w/ omega seamaster face + Nick mankey modern bond strap. In between WI & MN at the interstate state park. Glorious hike and camping.

Fenix 5x sapphire - first 1 lasted me ~5 years I think. They discounted my replacement heavily though. I love it. It’s my golf watch too with the Garmin golf app.
