@Blowoutthecobwebs congratulations on the little one Olly! Hang in there buddy, first months are rough but the more they speak the better it gets.
-
@flannel-slut thank you mate! It’ll be launching soon!
-
@ShaymenFX thanks dude!
-
@Karol thank you mate! The sleep deprivation has been the hardest part - working like a dog outside of parenting has been a challenge! But she’s changing so fast and we love her like mad!
-
-
Actually the baby care is the easy part. Then they learn how to speak.
-
yep, babies are easy, besides from the sleep thing. Once the talking begins and they understand they have power, your in for trouble.

Guys, I’m planning something special for ep10 of the podcast. Probably pretty obvious after asking this question, but I would love your input: if you could ask Harakisan anything, what would it be? Answers on a stamped addressed envelope. Thanks!
-
Question for Haraki - what is the most important design feature of Iron Heart?
-
Question - which IH item that he has designed is he most proud of?
-
Question for Haraki-San:
Are you aware that the quality and fit of IH products is so good, some of your customers are simply unable to purchase clothes from any other brand? -
Question for Haraki-San:
Is there a product or item you would like to make, but cannot for whatever reason (e.g. factories just cannot make the fabric, the raw materials cannot be sourced ethically, the pattern is too complicated to construct)?And/Or
When you sit down to design a new piece, do you picture any particular kind of person wearing it? If so, who is the 'model'/Iron Heart customer you imagine?
-
@Oaktavia Perhaps my ignorance, but isn't the answer "it's selvedge if it was woven on a shuttle loom and has a 'self-edge', and it's not if it was woven on a projectile loom and does not have such an edge"?
Or do you mean to ask "What factors do you consider when deciding whether to use selvedge or non-selvedge denim in a particular garment"?
Just worried that something might get lost in translation...
-
I’m guessing @oaktavia wants to know why H “decides” to weave selvedge or non-selvedge denim fabric when ordering it from the looms.
