Spring/Summer 2024 - Live Reveal Presentation Coming Soon
-
Awesome stuff as always guys. Thanks for making these videos.
-
@AdamJ - thanks. It may be a while until I get one as I am saving for the M-65!
-
Dang the reversible jacket… It’s two jackets at the price of one right?
Also: Great job with the presentation! Keep doing it live, it adds to the engagement even when there’s only few questions.
-
Thanks for the presentation guys. I had to go at 45 mins in as I had baby dinner and bedtime duties. Finished the presentation just now.
A little constructive feedback on presentation:
-
Please repeat the question (or mic up the guys behind the camera), as it’s often quite hard to hear what is being asked by the audience when it’s put to Alex and Adam.
-
When showing close ups of the fabric, you are a bit too quick (at least on your YT camera) and it doesn’t always focus before you whip the piece away again.
-
Any chance of a 4K camera (or 4K stream, if the camera is capturing at 4K)? YT was displaying at 1080p, which is fine for most video, but when we want to see the fine detail on pieces it can get lost at 1080p when you are stood a a few feet back from the camera.
These are just minor quibbles really as the fact you stay late and do the streams at all puts you head and shoulders above the rest as it is. Thanks again!

On point one, we were reminded to do this part way through and we did from then on. Always easy to forget something as we do these infrequently, but we will endeavour to do this moving forward. On point two, sorry the focus was slower than we thought - Adam and I have nothing to look at, so we have to gauge the timing and also weigh up the benefit of showing the fabric close up compared to the 'dead time' of standing there for a while not doing anything else. I can assure you that the short time we do show those close-ups feels like an age when you're the other side of the camera and I am conscious that we have a large drop off of viewers as time goes on. Our camera and our camlink are 4K, so I guess this is a youtube setting. @SamD will take a look in more detail later this week.

S/S24 looks great but I think my organs are safe! Some technically technically interesting and clever stuff (and lots of potential with the new techniques/fabrics), but I think I can get it down to one for the head, one for the heart and one “sounds interesting but I’d like to see it first”.
-
@EdH thanks Ed, constructive feedback always welcomed, we want to fine tune these as much as possible. As Alex said we do these very infrequently and try to make them as natural and conversational as possible. Very valid points for us to keep in mind for next time, so appreciated

@WhiskeySandwich @Oaktavia fellas did anyone see the 389 coming soon... https://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum/topic/14920/ihsh-389-ind-12oz-dobby-cloth-cpo-shirt-indigo?_=1704914767316 I'm so stoked to try a Sashiko style fabric in a CPO style.
-
@Mr-Linz I really do like it but I’m trying to stick to a single from the collection, the OD serge looks like the one. I am really excited to see what you guys do with the sashiko tho! That fabric looks great!
-
@WhiskeySandwich Is the OD serge a CPO? What's the model number? Makes total sense to put a limit per collection.
-
@Oaktavia Ahhhh yeah, that's very true, you have a lot of indigo for sure! What kinda some shirts are you looking at?
-
@goosehd My bad, should've added it here in the first place!
-
Will the red W only be used on seasonal releases going forward, or will it also be applied to future runs of continuous production shirts as well?
Really hoping not because I don't think I could ever wear a shirt with that detail.
-
Thanks folks. The dobby is my best in show and the CPO is on the radar. Great stuff.
-
We’re going to need Black Sashiko, and Sashiko pants( jeans?).
