Freenote Cloth

cloudy day but nice out so I broke out the wells flannel with shorts. Love these light weight shirts from Freenote. I should’ve grabbed the rust color when I had the chance
-
@Gavin666 I have the RJ in oak as well. Great jacket. I actually wrecked my old motorcycle in it and it barely ripped! Haha. Shows the quality of the fabric

Picked up the waxed riders jacket in Olive recently. Thankfully due to mega shite English weather I have been able to wear it. Very nicely made and substantial. The olive has a beautiful depth to it.
Excuse the shite ultra mega hangover picture.

@Cutlasshound nice, are the pockets now lined?
-
@Eza Sadly they are not, good sir!
-
@Choko I have the Oak and Tumbleweed. Prefer the Oak colorway.
-
Big fan of the waxed riders. Still wanna pick up an oak one sometime.
-
Absolutely love my oak riders jacket. It looks good with anything
-
@Cutlasshound darn LOL

Anyone have any ideas/experience with Freenote Dusters? Unsure of size on these. I wear a 33 in 888s (current size chart), so after waist stretch there I would be right in between a 32 and 33 in the Dusters. Wouldn't want to go much smaller in the thighs than what's on the 888s. Looking for any advice.

Long time no See... I have question, maybe there's someone able to help. How does sizing on the RJ1 compare to IH sizing? I'm thinking to go L and wear XL in IH flannels. Also, can anyone shed some light on how warm the lined jackets are, maybe even compare between the 20oz and standard?
Much appreciated -
@Max-Power Off topic, but great to see you Flo!!
-
Haha, cheers!

@Max-Power @Mizmazzle can help weigh in on the lined jacket and maybe sizing. He wears the Fleece lined denim one on the regular in cold weather.
-
@Max-Power I have an RJ1. It’s one size down from my IH size. I wear 2XL in UHF’s and my RJ1 is an XL and it fits fantastic. It’s an awesome jacket. I’ve had mine for a few years now and it’s held up great. The Freenote guys are awesome too and help with whatever you need
-
@Choko thanks so much! So the size is set! Which fabric do you have and how warm is it? I'm torn between the olive which only comes in the light version and the heavier tobacco.
-
@Choko exact same for me
-
@Max-Power I have the regular fabric in the oak color. It’s definitely not a winter jacket. If you wear it with a flannel underneath, it’s pretty decently warm. But with just a tshirt, it’s basically a light jacket
-
@Max-Power I have the shearling lined RJ2 and it’s crazy warm. My favorite garment ever. I’m a large in all my UHFs, IH shirts and IH jackets. I took a medium in my RJ2
I also had the waxed rider. It’s not very warm, but has a nice weight to it. I bought a large in that but always felt it was a bit too big. Worked great with a UHF under but I think a medium would have been a better fit.
