Cider......

Yummm…Cider is probably my favorite alcoholic drink. Difficult to get dry cider whenever I’m in the US. And downright impossible in S. America.
That should not be the case in the US. Cider has undergone something similar to what happened here with craft beer decades ago, and I’ve been able to find the likes of Basque and other European ciders as well as American versions of those, as well as unique styles from domestic cideries. A friend is an investor in a cidery called Stem here in Denver and they make fantastic dry ciders. I’d say I encounter more dry than sweet domestic craft ciders, and there are at least 1,200 cideries here according to ciderguide.com
All that said, making cider is REALLY easy. Find a juice you like (you can also make it but need to account for bacteria), add yeast and sugar, seal in glass, store in a cool place, wait a week or two.
All THAT said, Samuel Smith makes excellent medium dry to dry sparkling apple and pear ciders if those are available.

Start your own production @motojobobo and make a fortune by selling it.
I love cider as long as it cold and dry (brut), and a sunny day outside.

Also, very likely gluten free.

100% agree
We have a handful of great cider operations in the pacific northwest

does bulmers or strongbow count in this?

Loving it. Quite challenging because the weather is iffy, so we have had to stay at places longer than we would have chosen to. But that is sailing, and it's actually nice not to give a shit about anything....We will def come back to all of the places we have so far been.....

@mclaincausey Seal in glass, but please use an airlock! Glass and sealed pressure are a bad combination.
