Wabbidashery… aka, The Heritage Heaven Tour

Sorry for the lack of content from me lately - the days have been busy with work and kids birthdays and the weather’s been warm, so not much opportunity to wear and share the wabash.
This week we’re in Norfolk for a getaway. It was my daughter’s 10th birthday and she’s always wanted to try camping, so we gave that a go for a couple of nights. We found a place that had rides and a petting zoo so - lots of fun for the kids.
Yesterday we rented a boat and explored the Norfolk Broads. It was a beautiful day and one that I’ll remember spending with my family. Lots of wildlife, my favourite was spotting some cormorants hunting for fish. Unfortunately no decent shots of him.
We’re now staying in a converted barn in the north of the county and planning the rest of our trip. Will hopefully get to wear the wabash and share with you the last week of my leg of the tour

Nice one! Who won the golf? ️ Hopefully there’ll be some better weather for you the coming week. Enjoy. Love this action shot too ^

Great update, that jacket looks at home in the boat!

I’m going to round out my leg now with a few more pics of the wabash on holiday. The weather really picked up and there wasn’t much occasion to wear it, but it did get a bit of use as a blanket on the beach (I’ll make sure to wash it before sending on).
We did the usual days out when the weather was cooler, visiting parks / forests and towns. The wabash was a great companion and I find myself wishing I had one in my wardrobe. I’ll be keeping an eye on the seconds market for one.
Want to thank the IH crew and @neph93 for organising this tour. I loved being involved, but also feel I should apologise for my leg being underwhelming. We had a bit of a health scare within the family (everything’s fine!) but the timing meant I couldn’t commit as much as I’d like, or the forum deserves, and for that I’m sorry!!
I’ll be reaching out to @Cutlasshound to arrange transfer of the jacket, and I look forward to seeing what comes next!!

@Mister_Brue I won of course, but had to pretend I didn’t as one of my opponents was a very competitive 7 year old

@Mizmazzle dude, it was “glamping” so we had to do nothing to set the tent up. There were even beds in the tent . My wife wanted to try camping without the initial outlay and to retain a bit of comfort. Unsurprisingly she is unconvinced and is definitely a hotel/apartment person - I can’t see her agreeing to camping again. And to be fair I’m not some intrepid outdoorsman and prefer something a bit more luxury myself!
Meanwhile the campsite was in a petting zoo for kids with funfair and stuff.

@jerkules not at all underwhelming (and I completely agree with @Mizmazzle about your leg).
-
@Mister_Brue is doing a great job here on the IHJ-120 thread at the moment!
-
@jerkules No apologies needed; I think everyone has enjoyed seeing the jacket out in the wild on your leg. You’ve shared some great pictures and interesting days out, so thanks.
Glad all well, and If you’re still keen, I believe there may be jackets in Japan if you wanted to ask nicely.
