That right only buttons.. not snaps

Got it, my mistake. I’ll ask to switch over to a button then

I'm sending in my 295ib for a GAH snap on the chest pocket. This will be my first ever!! Pretty psyched about it. @SKT and I have been chatting about the virtues of the left pocket vs. the right pocket. It seems the left pocket is the most popular route.
I'm curious the take others may have on this topic? Love to hear a bit of input...
-
@Mizmazzle I personally could not have just one pocket upgraded. The asymmetry would absolutely do my head in.
That said, I think I would go for the left pocket if I simply had no choice but to have only one GAH snap. I have no idea why.

@Mister_Brue well sheet!! Silver nips is an option as well I suppose...I have the pearl snaps on my 295 already so it sort of has that full silvery effect as it is....
-
@Mizmazzle “Silver nips”.

@Mizmazzle left makes sense if you’re just doing one. It’s the side where the breast pocket goes on blazers, shirts with only one pocket, Ts, etc. I guess it’s just the side where extra features go for guys.
-
@ARNC Oh yes, that’s why.

This makes a lot of sense

May not happen again, especially this weekend

Left makes sense, but also consider how much you use either pocket for items and if you carry a cross-body bag frequently, and over which shoulder. For me I do end up using my left pocket more often and carry a bag crossbody on my left shoulder, so it might end up hiding the snap often. Really i think this just means you need to do both pockets for redundancy.

@pechelman Touché.
-
@Mizmazzle I think that’s the right call too. And if you’re anything like me, you may actually use that pocket more frequently, giving you a chance to admire/caress your beautiful bling
