Watches - another OCD problem
-
@Mizmazzle really enjoyed that video. That was quite the shopping spree!
-
@IrishHeart haha. By the way Tom was talking the whole time I was kind of surprised he only bought 4! Sounds like the sort of spree isn’t uncommon for him. Sheesh!!
-
@Graeme yeah the dress up think bothers me about wearing a double rider jacket since I don’t ride but with watches for some reason it doesn’t. Probably because desk divers are much more common than actual divers sporting diver watches.

The cubitus on display.. @Graeme

For me: that
Especially if they’re both Spring Drive
The power meter will always look backwards to me.
-
prefer the 40mm. first one
-
The latter for me. I like the case size, the feel of a GS manual winder, and the dial is lovely. I still regret not getting the pink dialed version similar to this watch ON SALE in St Maarten. I dont let my wife forget about it either
-
The spring drive, blue hand and dial of the Omiwatari are what make it the winner in my eyes. No date, no power reserve and a hand that is smooth as can be!
“This” has my favorite case shape. But I’m sure the Omiwatari also has beautiful lines and polishing when seen in person.
And the bracelet on the Omiwatari is nice. I’m a bracelet guy though.

@Giles this for me.
-
@Giles first one, date and power indicator are nice
-
The 3rd one for sure. Spring drive and a clean elegant dial in a 38.5mm timeless case size. No brainer
-
THAT: I have one of those small manual wound GS, and I love it to bits. It's fun to wind every morning, it's beautiful and clean, with no text or subdials, and you can wear it up or down. As a side note, GS sells a super fancy bead of rice bracelet that fits them beautifully. That one has a nice dial too.
I had a spring drive; it did nothing for me. I realize it is a very innovative movement, but it's just not that interesting to me (although the dial of that 3rd GS is lovely).
Edit: that's the bead of rice bracelet (on yet another version of the 37mm manual watch). It can be hard to find at times, and it's not cheap.
