I'll join in.
Airports are the most insanely infuriating places to circumnavigate. I have travelled a lot, so I am pretty well organised and usually know where I need to get to. Unfortunately just about every other fucker in the airport is lost, needs to stop suddenly to look at a departures screen or some tat in an overpriced "duty free" emporium, or wanders around aimlessly and in anything but a predictable straight line.
Then the dickhead in front of you at the security check in does not even think about getting prepped until he/she pulls the tray out. And he/she is usually the one that has liquids or scissors or nail files in the luggage which sets the machines off into a frigging meltdown, and delays everyone else in the queue whilst they argue with the security staff about all the shit they have on their person that needs to be confiscated.
You get onto the plane and then and only then do they think about getting out of their bags (yes loads of bags contrary to airline policy), all the shit they will need to comfort them on the flight, causing another bottleneck.
Yeah, I got back from Egypt a couple of days ago, and have another 7 international flights in the next 3 weeks.....
Luckily, despite it all being insanely frustrating, I am one of the coolest, calmest passengers there is. If I wasn't, I'd have had a stroke/heart attack years ado.
-
@Giles if going on all these trips is too frustrating I'll happily step in for you and endure the airport annoyances. First class is preferred btw
-
@goosehd just wait until you get to your 60’s!
That said, it’s easier to get away with being a grumpy old bastard at my age
-
I’ve had early onset curmudgeonhood for decades. I’m as curious as my family as to whether and how it gets even worse at and past 50.
-
I‘m a little mad I got up early to watch a content creator fight a 58 year old Tyson.
-
@RobeOfTheMagi I stayed up late to watch it. Thought it was really bad,and from the level of booing,I was not alone in my thoughts. People paid a lot of money to see that.
-
To be fair, I do t know what about a bout between a social media guy and a 60 year old man doesn’t portend a boring event.
-
To rub salt in, those two clowns earned a greater purse than Taylor & Serrano who served up another great bout.
-
Like a lot of things these days, the hype definitely didn’t match the substance. Then again, what did you expect? Much preferred the Taylor & Serrano fight.

Sad but true. However, I strongly disagree with Tyson being a clown.
The joke‘s on me for watching the circus.
-
@Sir_Cuffs-a-Lot Even worse when they are facetiming but they're not using it in selfie mode but to show everything and everyone around them.
-
@RobeOfTheMagi I knew nothing good would come from it.

You are 100% right. Full disclosure…I bought the hype/hoped Tyson would beat the annoying social media guy. That being said if I didn’t have a Netflix account,I wouldn’t have gotten one just to see the fight. I agree with others that the Taylor/Serrano bout was great.
