Watches - another OCD problem
-
Wanted one of these for years, took the plunge and satisfied my more than one watch craving for good!
-
@ddtrash Thanks for the compliment. It’s 36mm, had it since about January this year and it’s hardly left my wrist.. my wrist is pretty average size, I guess, but my wrist bone is a bit awkward but this sits very nicely I think.
-
@VoodooRay I have one as well and it is damn near perfect
-
@Gavin666 Big fan! Congrats!
-
I got my preorder in today for a nice, small release from the Netherlands. More details next month
-
@Anesthetist agreed.. I’ve kind of stopped lusting after watches so much since getting this one although I’m still really keen to get a JLC reverso and a 5 digit sub some day.

Nice one G!
-
I bet it just sparkles in the flesh
-
Congrats, nice one !
-
@Giles Perfect!
-
@Anesthetist exciting, Grönefeld?
-
@Giles congrats on a real stunner!
-
@ddtrash baby Grönefeld
-
@Anesthetist Lovely, It is a nice idea that Grönefeld had in making these releases.
I came close to picking up a pre owned Principia and still keep a close eye on them. Great pick up, cant wait to see the pictures.
-
@ddtrash I think so too. I love their design language and I figure this will be as close as I get for a while. Do you think you’ll nab that Principia? My watch should be under the Christmas tree so keep your eyes on this space for pics

@Anesthetist I am getting more interested in small independent brands such as Gronefeld and Laurent Ferrier. While I like the Patek pieces I own they are not finished to the same standard as these independents.
Also the Cubitus release was (for me at least) a bit worrying. If this is the best Patek can do after several years of design process then it sows a seed of doubt regarding where the company will go.
Rumour was that Thierry Stern is looking to retire and his sons are waiting in the wings and the Cubitus is their baby. Read into this what you will.
