GOOD ART HLYWD Jimmy Cross Pendant - Sterling Silver
Double-sided solid cast .925 sterling silver pendant featuring the Blessed Virgin Mary and GOOD ART HLYWD's sacred and signature rosettes. This piece came to fruition after Josh was asked to reinterpret the Miraculous Medal - a very special devotional gift given to his friend's husband by their mother. This inspired design maintains the warmth and feel of the original, but includes that GOOD ART HLYWD modern lux-twist.

These are great, I wear mine daily. But for the record, that is a depiction of Mary.

@Anesthetist Your comment caused a discussion between me and @Joe. It was Joe who wrote the copy and was adamant it was Jesus.
So, I asked Josh. It's Jesus…

Cant argue it when it comes from the boss’ mouth but google the miraculous medal. The depiction, stance, and Satan underfoot is the same.
In the long run, I love it, it’s a killer piece and I wear mine daily.

Okay I've put my foot in my mouth… certainly not the first time and we all know it won't be the last. Here's how; Giles asked me point blank in an email, is JC depicted or the Blessed Mary and (not remembering from when I first made this piece) I grabbed one from a drawer, put a loupe to my eye and thinking I had just seen Jesus, I told Giles in reply to his email that it was Jesus there on the Jimmy Cross.
Seems there is also confusion about the story of this piece, here's the actual story, short and sweet. A friend of ours wanted to get something very special for her husband and he's not so much a jewelry guy. She knew he loved this little charm that his mother gave him and as she'd passed it was very prized and important to him. It was a Miraculous Medal and he wore it all the time. When she could, our friend swiped the piece from him and gave it to me to use as inspiration. The job was to reinterpret the piece, lux-ing it up a bit while still maintaining the feel and warmth of the original. A modern take Good Art style.
Shortly after it was noticed that the original was missing, the new piece was delivered to a joyous reception. We're not really friends with those people anymore but I hope Jimmy still wears and loves his namesake piece.
Hope that helps, sorry for the troubles, throw tomatoes not potatoes.
Love,
Josh

It does have Mary's immaculate heart on the reverse, minus the sword. Cleverly the rosette patter seems to replace the string of roses that would normally encircle the heart.

Could also be a simplified Sacred Heart.
Def a complicated piece [emoji1]Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have a very dumb question: it’s comes with the chain? Thanks! And sorry for the question it’s going to be my first.

It does not. The chain is the #10 ballchain, also available in the webshop.

It is the Sacred Heart with stylized flames above.
like you @Anesthetist I was raised Catholic, my children were not. Attended Mass recently with my children and they were fascinated and I believe slightly appalled by the incense and mumbled responses and the standing sitting kneeling.
It was years before I really got that we were raised in a cult with it's own arcane rituals and knowledge that no-one outside the faith shared. -
