@Seul thanks for that link. I’ve never seen that before. Looking forward to checking it out!

@Mizmazzle said in TV:
@Brian watched episode 1 of Squid Game season 2 last night…wasn’t sure a second season would match the first…but that first episode pulled me right back in!!
I really enjoyed it.
Unsure what to make of David Fincher (who I love) making a US/English speaking 'reboot/version' of it. Apparently it's already in motion.

Anyone else watch “Somebody Somewhere”? It’s produced similar to Schitts Creek but with less focus on wacky comedy.
It touches certain human interaction moments like not many TV shows out there do. It’s frustrating and amazing and goofy and weird and normal and lots of it could be relatable to a wide audience. It hits the feels in many ways.

@sabergirl it took a few episodes for Joel to warm up to me, but he’s the best character by far.
-
Are you kidding, @jordanscollected Joel had me from the first moment! I’m so glad this is a show that seems to have gotten its due. They made 3 seasons.
-
Another vote here for Black Doves. Finished the series over two nights and hugely enjoyed it.
-
@sabergirl we have one episode left of season 3. I’m dreading it ending.

@endo Nice. This one caught our eye… trailer looks great

worth watching @flannel-slut

@endo thanks for the recommendation. This has some of the best brutal fight cinematography I've seen in a long time. It's edited so well for impact, sound and visual in the fight/ambush scenes.
It's well paced and acted. I can't give it a perfect rating as they rely a bit too much on over the top hardship scenes in some episodes, but overall I highly recommend.

@endo @flannel-slut great show, just started it last night after Landman season finale. The main actor in American Primeval is a friend, we've played a lot of hockey together over the years. His other Netflix series Painkiller is also quite good.
-
@dwaynelum can imagine that being equal parts cool and distracting to have a friend as an actor in a prominent role. I’d have way too hard a time not geeking out over the fact my friend does this for a living instead of loosing myself in the story
-
@flannel-slut it's harder when you go out in public for sure... but one of Taylor's best attributes is he sees himself as just one of "the boys." Accordingly we rib and roast just like we would any other teammate. It's great seeing a friend do well and succeed in their chosen field although I do find it eery when he plays a character, like David Koresh in Waco or Issac in American Primeval, so convincingly that I have to remind myself that's his job.
